I've got my cardo pack talk Bold, paid once, got all the features simple...!!!! Pay not my cuppa tea but some may like it..

I’d purposely not buy this product due to the subscription issue. I don’t care how good or bad it is.

So the Cardo custom single module comes with the full software capabilities which you cannot use unless you take out a subscription, the current price of this unit is about uk spec £245.00 then subscription costs silver @ $19.99 per year, Gold @ $29.99 per year and Platinum @ $39,99 per year. compared to just buying a full spec Cardo edge single module at uk spec £289.00 which will give you all the features at no ongoing extra cost. and given that the lifespan of these units is generally pretty good the subscription option would become an expensive choice for the customer. So just say "NO" thanks to subscription charging

Subscription based services/software: just say “NO!”. You keep on paying and paying and paying and … BTW: current airspace maps are still massive. Not so good when you’re in a “too close for comfort” Cessna or Piper or similar 😉
