Residents of the occupied village did not hand over seriously wounded Ukrainian soldiers to the Russians.
The village of Pravdyne in the Kherson region was liberated from Russian occupation on the third attempt. Before the liberation on November 9, 2022, the Ukrainian military tried to enter here twice more - at the end of August and in the middle of September.
These were bloody counter-offensive battles with great casualties.
During the second attempt to liberate Pravdyne from the Russians, local resident Yehvenia Hlukha found two seriously wounded Ukrainian soldiers near her house. Together with her neighbors, she took care of the defenders and begged the Russian invaders not to take them away.
