Career Bytes: Discussion on Physiotherapy by SGT University Gurgaon

Career Bytes- A series of career counseling sessions by SGT University took place where we had an interactive session with Dr. Sheetal Kalra(Head Professor and Associate Dean in Faculty of Physiotherapy at SGT University) on the topic ‘Why should one pursue Physiotherapy in SGTU’. Dr. Sheetal said Physiotherapists are key players in the health care system today. They help in restoring and improving movements, keeping patients healthy, fit and active thereby improving the quality of life. Physiotherapy also plays an important role in avoiding surgery and long term use of medications. With the effortless support of its able faculty members, visionary management and excellent and extensive infrastructure at SGT University entrench perseverance and a never-say-tired spirit from academics to co-curricular activities in the heart of every student. She also added that besides the classroom learning and clinical training at the SGT Hospital, We gave our students an Industry Exposure: through visits, inviting renowned physiotherapists /experts to deliver lectures/seminars, etc to make them expertise in all the better ways possible. The one compliment she always gets to listen from the Hospitals HOD is SGT students come with all preparation in the field.
