Carter is my personal Favorite NBA Player of All-time. I think it’s heavily due to growing up in Jersey with the Nets & watching Kidd, Carter & Jefferson light up the stadium, Live... Vince used to just amaze me he was like a superhero to me as a kid... not to mention the “VC3” chants erupting throughout the game

You people know nothing at all, as of right now .00004% of the population has died from the virus, yet it has impacted 90% of our daily lives, as if .00004% alcohol is enough to get you drunk! And now the world is investing $17,000,000,000,000 into the medical research, that's enough money for agriculture to ensure no child goes hungry, but nope, that means all stock brokers who have moved money from oil to vaccines will continue to get wealthier and pretty soon all babies will have to undergo the vaccine and no one can travel from country to country without a DNA scan at the airports. Repent for the kingdom of Heaven has already come.

This was almost like a "Made for TV" game - it wasn't originally scheduled to even be televised in the US but after "Vinsanity" took the league by storm the league adjusted their schedule and added additional TV slots to get Toronto on, and this was the first of several. And lo and behold Carter scores 51 in his first national TV appearance with a bunch of highlight reel plays.

I hope Vince returns for another year because this COVID shit is not the way anyone wants to go out. It'll be dope if the Raptors can somehow figure out a way to sign Vince to a one day contract for their last regular season game next season and let his last game be with the Raptors in Toronto. Let Vince play with Atlanta for the season and the two teams can come up with a way to let his last game be with the Raptors.

I'm saying that it's a shame that no contender is making room on their roster for Vince, if it's Rosterspot 10-15, doesn't matter. Last years finals were between the team that drafted him(GS)and he's mostly known for(Raptors). At 43 and already 3 months Vince is 22 years in the league and has no finals appearance. Probably the only player at least 41 years old in league history that never played the finals. I'm talking to you @Bucks,@Lakers,@Clippers,@Raptors,@Celtics @Nets probably when KD is back or @Warriors with Curry,Klay,Wiggins,Draymond healthy. A player that loves the game so much that he sticks around and keeps his body and mind in shape since 1998 as a guard(not like Parish,Willis,Abdul-Jabbar who all were big men in this league) in the NBA and all those high school&college hoops time... I simply wish him to experience the Finals , even if it 's only on the bench. C'mon NBA executives, make sth.work regarding this topic!

Nobody thought it was funny when they were speculating about McGrady possibly leaving and they mention he wants to be the #1 option, he just bought a house in Orlando, his family is in Orlando...it was pretty obvious he was not going to stay! Also if the magic's superteam of McGrady, Hill, and Duncan came together that would have been a better team than Toronto and he would have been closer to home. I never really understood why he did leave the Raptors, I think it makes a lot of sense when you look at the whole picture.

People don't realize how GOOD vince and tmac were from 99 to 03 . That's a long enough window to add role players around them and go for a title they could have done it. Tmac to this day says his. This Raptors squad is one of those "could have been great" teams. Aside from Vince and T-Mac, they had a solid trio of big men in Antonio Davis, Charles Oakley, and good backup in Kevin Willis. Doug Christie was one of the best perimeter defenders during his time, and Dell Curry is a great shooter off the bench. One weak point was that they don't have a traditional point guard- McGrady and Christie had ball-handling duties but were wing players. In hindsight, it may have been good that McGrady left Toronto bc he never would have been the great player that he is today. Although in my mind he would've been a great Pippen to Carter's MJ (T-Mac averaged 6.5 APG one season as a Rocket), he never would be considered one of the best players of the first half of the 2000s had he stayed in Toronto.
