@sugu8403 Жыл бұрын
He left our team like a punk; don’t get me wrong I loved watching Vince play *BUT* I’m never going to forget all his “injuries” he faked, his constant pouting at the end, dropping his scoring average from 24.5ppg to 15.9ppg just so Toronto would trade him, OH and to top it all off we trade him for next to nothing because he forced Babcocks hand (who was already a trash gm) and Alonzo Mourning didn’t even report to us; it was actually a bitch ass move I was so mad especially after losing McGrady to Orlando as well..
@---gh0st--- Жыл бұрын
@@sugu8403 bro, the team was fucking him around for months before that shit, he tried to do shit the "right way" behind the scenes and got nowhere so did what he had to do The way I see it, he showed them respect until they refused to show him some in return and at that point its fuck you (not you, the team) imo Definitely could have been handled better from both sides but to say Vince was the punk in the situation is wrong imo, Vince tried to be mature but his hand was forced, I'd more so blame the stubborn assholes who ran the team and forced said hand

He shall forever be 1/2MAN - 1/2AMAZING. I hope he gets either a statue or a retired rafter jersey as a Raptor. He set the stage for longevity in Canadian Basketball, and now that my sons becoming a baller I'm even more excited. Thanks for 22 great years of BBall!!

The Dunk over Shaq was SICK!! My favorite. Not only did he go over Shaq, he went through Shaq. Anyways, the definition for “Poster” should be that dunk over that 7 foot 1 guy in the Olympics!

Without a doubt my all time favorite dunker. Carter consistently did contest style dunks in the middle of games. Which I never seen anybody do at that time.

My fav player growing up and I stand by this statement, he was the most talented 2 guard ever. He had more explosiveness than anyone at the position and the best 3 point shooter out of his peers. He just didn't have the organization and drive to be better than everyone else unfortunately
@kewan20454 жыл бұрын
Baldheadslck most athletic 2 guard ever possibly, not among the most skilled.
@WalkingthroughNYC4 жыл бұрын
@@kewan2045 actually he was among the most skilled. His issue was his drive to be the best. Outside of Ray Allen and Reggie Miller he was probably the best three-point shooting two guard star from that era and he actually had way more range than Ray Allen. Here's the first guy to really pull up three four feet behind the three-point line on a regular basis. he had pretty good court vision wasn't the best passer but he was an above average passer. He had a post game he had a fade away he could shoot the three way better than most two guards could drive to the basket and score and he actually was a decent shot blocker. He just didn't have the drive that Kobe had.

Baldheadslck as a die hard Vince carter fan it baffles me people don’t look at him as one of the most skilled players and one of greatest of all time in general it really kills me inside 😂💯. First ballot hall of fame legend icon
@cosmic_JAV4 жыл бұрын
@@jeanbatlle7280 Honestly I think his dunking/jumping ability actually works against him when people think of his skill set.

J V I hear you but ima just say it like this and I hope this Sinks in. He’s the greatest in game dunker of all time and to be honest is not even close 🤷🏼♂️, he’s scored almost 26000 points. He’s top 6 on the all time three point list. And I can also say he played and lasted 22 years at that, plus the countless highlights acrobatic lay ups and just basketball plays in general , in my opinion your looking at one of the most skilled players of all time , he can dunk he can shoot he scores on every level and was actually clutch with a lot of game winners. I mean Vince carter is just a icon in basketball and that’s why he will be a first ballot hall of famer without a championship and without a mvp .

13:25 - that French center, upon seeing him loading up for take-off, closed his eyes as he braced for impact. A second later, he heard the crowd cheering, opened his eyes & wondered, "where did he go?" He turned around to see Vince with that menacing look on his face getting playfully pushed by KG in celebration 😂

Watching highlights of Bince Carter reliving those magical moments, I thank Gil bince for those electrifying moments making my love for the game even more intense. This dude is a phenomenal, capable of flying up in the air to funk, attack the hoop and slamming unlike any player we’ve seen in the game. Better than watching the Harlem globe trotted. The dude is a one man- show! Reverting, entertaining snd every YOUD expect from a elite player! Thank Vince for those glorious moments, they are forever etched in our conscience, ouches and memories!
