1/3 of the way through the video , the beamNG transitions like at 0:40 with the pigeons being there where we just passed. And 1:39 where to trucks disappear. Very nice , i can imagine that theyre hard to make. And if not thereyre a great inclusion to make your videos more professional.👌 The thing is in BeamNG , in general ,its very easy to make money. Just race a few times and youve got quite the payout. And without needing to pay for things that you wouldve had to in reallife : rent, food , water, electricity, new stuff for your needs. This very much stacks up overtime , and a short amount of time at that. In a week of playing beamNG, you can make 100k in that time , enough to buy a scintilla already, thats why they try to add more things that are overexpenced to balance things like: insurance, fuel, paint, speeding and running reds and a few more. But its not enough to stop someone grinding for a day to eventually get whats basically the end goal (a scintilla). They need to add things like a monthly pay checkup on your car to see if its fit to drive on the road , paying for change of oil or refilling it and having cars that seem to be good on resale with many engine problems that arent acknowledgable at first like having 0 oil and the engine locks up. More variety in what happens too. They should probably add houses you need to pay for and have to go to the store to get oil for your car or a spare tire and maybe instead of just replacing and buying the "new engine" or the sport bumper and it just appearing there. They should maybe add some realism like havint a delivery system so people have to wait for a van to come deliver it the next day or in 7hr depending on what it it. And maybe they should make it so that when you go to the mechanic, they can only repair stuff , but certain things like a new dashboard is required for you to buy for them to install. Like something the mechanics would do in reallife ,instead of just you asking them to fix a car thats half caved in at the front, they would find the front subframe and electronics themselves but you have to take part. But it also takes days for it to get fixed depending on the damages. 7:34 With the 'job' side of things. Maybe you have to have certian times to do the job ,like night shift or that when you have the car they give you ,you have to take care of it , if it gets damaged , the department will take care of it but if it needs fuel , you might have to refuel it yourself or they will give yo some money for a week. And maybe as you develop through the ranks ,you'll be able to get better vehicles and choose what type of poilce enforcer you want to do like taking a vehicle in custody and putting it in the impound at the back of the station or highway watching fo speeders but have them rarely run and instead pull over , cause it isnt all the time that somone runs. Or have someone be swerving crazy and give them a ticket or two etk-k series racing and giving them.a ticket and such. 9:19 The phone idea is such a good one. Cause you can use it to call a potentially added tow truck in the game ,intead of it just teleporting to the garage. And add the risk of getting your car impounded by a cop cause its not suited to drive so they choose to pay to get it towed and use the phone to get a cab or go on public transport. They should add a LARGE repair centre for that and make it have load of broken down car in it and have one car on a lift that theyre working on to make it more interactive and realistic. ANOTHER thing with the phone might be that you have to take pictures of the crash to even claim insurance on it. So a camera module in the phone would be neat. 10:34 Yes ,yes . Definitely 11:08 thats the thing , if the engine is gone and the car is totalled. Why would the insurance want to pay for that? Its completely destroyed , and the fact it could be a special bolide that it unique instead of a regular car makes it worse , so you take it to the dealership and they say "Its salvagable" and you have to work with the dealer to go online and find parts for it. They should make it so the more expensive the car ,the harder it is the find parts , whether new or used. Get rid of the regular ,buy in the mechanic place and you get it on the car straight away. Make it so you have to find parts on diffrnent markets and have to take 2 days to deliver. Or message the civetta dealership and see how much the repairs are there , cause the have all the parts for it, but the cost is ridiculous just like in reallife ☠️. There really is endless things that career can intergrate. And if we include the fact that some modders are figuring out how to make the engine fail, but you have to interact with the engine inorder to get it runnin (its very very simple, its just boxes you click on) but this may indicate something like 'mechanic sim' level of engine detail and having to replace sparkplugs or change oil filter and vice versa. I hope it becomes something legendary. Gret video ,this was alot of typing but it was worth it. Watched to the end. But spend triple the time in the comments 💀👍👌

Oooooh That's probably the longest comment I've ever red :) Yes, I agree with you in everything. Career mode should somehow keep balance between realism and so grinders can't speedrun it, but in the same it should be interesting and exiting to play in (because sometimes waiting days for delivery of the essential parts could be annoying). But actually just reading all this you realize how much potential this game mode has. It's just incredible and I think that if devs would do it right - it will be very successful and very fun to play in! Also about these scenes in the beginning - it's not very hard to create actually - I've developed my own technic using replays and a camera path and I'm really glad that you like it :)

@@vertviger yeah ,i actually thought of the delivery system to be annoying when I first thought of it. Yeah, it quite he long comments, I posted it 1hr after the video so minus the video itself.,it took me 40 minutes to type 😂☠️. Career can become quite intuitive with what it can do. Cant wait till it is released. Also do you know about RLS.career mode. If not ,I highly suggest checking it out since it has some elements that are wanted in beamng drive. The modder who created it has a channel called "Raceless" and he does videos about the updates on it and run-through videos about it.

I think it's good that you pay for basically everything lol. But yeah the prices maybe need a little rebalance. Tho for paints I think it really makes you consider spending extra on paint. So if you wanna go for a metallic paint you may choose to go with cheaper clearcoat depending on your budget, which is a fun mechanic I think What I do lack rn is incentive to use your own cars. Like, there's no point in building a car other than for delivery. Maybe the missions could give higher payouts for using your own car, if it fits
@vertviger6 күн бұрын
Yeah, that's right That's just for me (about car paint), because I really like customizing my car in that way and when prices for custom paints changed that rapidly I was a bit upset, you know :) And, yeah Now career mode is mainly about delivery, so we don't have any more options on how to customize our car. But your own car for races sometimes could be to OP, so I'm not sure if devs will implement it Also thanks for the comment, maybe this will help video to perform better :)
