Whereas in India companies always focus on career gap instead candidate had skill set this is the big reason guys are facing lot of problems to get a job and putting some Manipulating experience... All lives are not equal like some one will directly get the job after their education someone may have family, financial and there are many other valid reasons please consider and give them one oopunity..

If you are not good at coding skills then from the starting itself try to learn automation tools which will gear up your career.. As an 10 year sdet it's my personal opinion

All private companies can lay off ppl for business reasons. However this does not happen often in india. The other reason is that the organisation consider s the persons performance of his/ her role to be below par. Generally they are given a limited time frame to improve. The third reason could be if the person is caught doing something unethical. This based on company policy can allow for immediate firing by the organisation

Stick around if it is a mnc as they can afford and do maintain a bench. Check your agreement with the company while asking ppl your supervisor and hr in the company to place you by saying ... I am learning xyz etc. Meanwhile just keep learning , do mock projects. Practice by creating tangible documents and get it reviewed by seniors in bench if possible
