Career Services shape how graduates contribute to society by providing a vital link between work and study. In countries like South Africa, funding for these services is limited, so it's especially important for career service champions to take action within their universities.

SPEAKERS:
Dr. Fundiswa Nofemela is the Director of Co-Operative Education at
Mangosuthu University of Technology in Durban, South Africa. Dr. Fundiswa
earned her Doctorate in Education from Cap Peninsula University of Technology. As a member of SASCE, she advocates and promotes cooperative education throughout Southern Africa, linking academic institutions, the business world, and community organizations.
Jim Beirne has taught and provided career advice to Washington University students, alums, and colleagues for 18 years. He has been a member of the Global Curriculum Innovation Advisory Board of the Future Talent Council, the National Association of Colleges and Employers, the past Associate Dean of the Olin Business School, and the Director of the Weston Career Center, amongst others.
The webinar will be moderated by Amy Refaat, IFC's Senior Private Sector Specialist.
