Anish took time to explore various career options - first in IT, then taking a long sabbatical exploring various places in India before a chance meeting got him into a publishing company as a commissioning editor.
A few years later, having built a network across publishing and media, he struck out on his own to take on authors as clients.
In a sense, he does brand building for authors - who are best at writing and are typically not savvy about marketing or the market
That's where Anish operates. Creating the room for authors in the readers' minds. Even if they are blissfully unaware of what he does.
