Hello! I'm taking an office administration course at my local community college. I'm shifting to another career after more than a decade in the restaurant and hospitality industry. My work experiences are 99% restaurant-related. I found this video very helpful in terms of what to expect in an administration job interview. There are similarities to some interview questions I've had for cooking positions, but my answers were never like this! I'm struggling with anxiety about what jobs to apply for once I have my certificate. I found the hospitality industry took mercilessly without giving back, and I don't want to go back to that kind of stress. Any suggestions for where to look as a mid-thirties former chef with an office admin certificate?
