Hello! I'm taking an office administration course at my local community college. I'm shifting to another career after more than a decade in the restaurant and hospitality industry. My work experiences are 99% restaurant-related. I found this video very helpful in terms of what to expect in an administration job interview. There are similarities to some interview questions I've had for cooking positions, but my answers were never like this! I'm struggling with anxiety about what jobs to apply for once I have my certificate. This is very helpful but I have also found the more you rehearse, the more rehearsed it sounds. Trying to memorize things can lead you to a freeze up. Try and find your confidence within. Plan on having situational answers but don't overthink it!!
