Genuinely gotta be my favorite macleod song. So iconic. SO iconic. The jerma vs star lyrics kind of make it for me but thats 100% not the only reason. It has a calm energy to it but also has that kind of vaguely ironic sound because of how recognizable it is now and how people have depersonalized it and turned it into its own thing separate from the original work… I genuinely love all of kevin’s music, there are such deep nostalgic implications to at least the most recognizable and popular songs
