I did not realize, on Friday around 6 pm in Morris Mb you were in Tim Hortons waiting to receive your coffee , I walked in and I did a double take at you then I ordered my coffee, went I went out side and saw Big Blue driving away 😞that’s when I realized it was you Josh. So disappointed in my self. I would of loved to shake your hand and tell you I’m your biggest fan and appreciate all what you do in life do and teach future truckers. Cheers fine sir. Glenn

um Josh....I work for OK Tire here in Vancouver BC, Blackhawk tires are basically our "house Brand" as the head office has a partnership with Blackhawk. They aren't made by Hankook or that companies parent Kuhmo...they are made by Sailun Tire. For a Chinese sourced tire they are extremely good quality, priced affordably and I did have them on my '96 Cutlass before mechanical issues forced that car into the automotive junkyard. When the tires wear down on my '17 Chevy Cruze (yes I am now a Chevy owner) I'll be replacing them with Blackhawks...run wheat we sell and I love them. Edited, spelling.

I think it’s comical that he’s talking about thumping tires but didn’t notice a 15 psi difference right away. The point of thumping a set of duals is to hear and feel that they are the same pressure thereby able to catch that a tire is deflated some before it’s completely flat.

Josh I've heard you mention a few times about your "Chinese tires" but Hankook are not Chinese they are South Korean. They have been sold in Canada for many years and in fact I bought a set for my car at least 25 years ago. They are considered a decent tire and are OE on many domestic and import brands. No I have never worked for them or any other tire company.

Just a note, Under NAFTA, the driver who picked up the load from the shipper in the US is responsible for getting the load across the border. You can't even switch trailers once you picked up the load from the shipper within the US.

That's not true, you can switch. The driver who is cleared at customs is responsible to move it across. But you can change that with the broker if you need to. This happens when trucks break down etc

The broker isn't responsible to clear the driver but the load, ACI has the driver info associated with the driver. If you ever get pulled over by DOT with the different load than you picked up from the shipper then you will get that citation. There are a lot of rules and regulations that aren't enforced, I'm just saying what the book says.

Hello Josh! Seems to me that it is up to the driver and in this case the owner, to tell the tire guy what you are running for air pressure. I do not think that it is the truck tire repair guys fault at all. Thats on you! 😉
