Caregiver Neglect Allegation, Home Visit: Alleged Perpetrator Interview

This training video is designed to support APS professionals in building their confidence and ability to interview an Alleged Perpetrator. It demonstrates best practices regarding the following topics: addressing cultural differences, recovering from mistakes while conducting an interview, redirecting the interview; and how to start a conversation about resources. This is a great tool for Supervisors to use when meeting individually with staff and/or in team meetings to reinforce or coach staff around interviewing skills and to support the transfer of learning from Core training to practice in the field. This video can also be used by trainers to reinforce learning objectives and skills during training.
