I am a caregiver, it is the greatest honor of my life to care for my elders. It's been a gift that I've been able to give my entire life. Much love and gratitude to the elders who allow us to be part of their journey. Love and Light.

What timing and facial control. She is a gem. This is how religion should be. Not the Christian Nationalistic hatred but good old-fashioned humor.

We haveh just celebrated our 60th anniversary,.Bless her ,but bless her she is doing her best to make people feel more to appreciate the OLD PEOPLE WHO DESERVE RESPECT. WE HAVE LIVED A LIFE AND WE ARE NOT STUPID JUST BECAUSE WE ARE OLD. WE COULD TELL YOU SO MANY THINGS THAT YOU COULD LEARN ABOUT LIFE 👍
@peaceandlove5444 жыл бұрын
That's what my father told us... - Do you think because we are old we are dumb now? - No, I said, with all do respect (jokingly) you are not dumb now, that is not that issue you always were, but you were younger, quicker, in better shape all around. - Oh, I get it, he said, I was a functional dumb guy like you are now and I am not anymore. So, that means I have to trust your judgement a bit more now? - Yes I said, don't you think a young quicker dumb mind beats a slow dumb mind anytime? - Well, he said, I don't know if that is your case or in all cases, but I'll trust you on this one for now. - And we both laughed.

I love the fact that we are now called 'caregivers ' not 'care takers '. I was lucky enough to be caregiving to my parents for their last time here on earth and I know I will see them again. Wouldn't trade it for anything just to be there for them when they were always there for me. Miss you two! Travel on mom and dad!! 🚍 Damn they don't have a motor home emoji. Lol

My poor late mother had her hair touched up before she went in for exploratory surgery. She passed two days after the procedure. I went to the same “hair lady”. She asked about my mother. She had to take a five minute break bf she finished my haircut. I will never forget that.

Well arm, it was Christmas around Christmas. A couple of years my uncle had a haircut at a gate. Well I whoever was on my phone. Somehow, through trial-and-error I ended up switching, switching it around. Well, obviously he must. Not of known right away, but I was getting his text. SI wonder if he ever made it to that a gate in Charleston? Massachusetts hip hair appointment. I was in too busy stealing my photos. While, according to Catholic charities, he had a terrible accident in front of on Stafford street. And I heard he fell off the treadmill a couple times too😊
