In case you haven’t met me, my name is Natali Edmonds and I am a board certified geropsychologist. That means that I am a clinical psychologist who specializes in working with older adults. One day, while hiking a trail, I came up with the idea for Careblazers and I decided to see if posting videos online could provide help to the many other Careblazers in the world who don’t get to have help come directly to them in their homes. I hope that this work helps you in some way on your caregiving journey.

What a beautiful perspective Anne has. Thank you Anne for sharing your poems and heart & how you choose joy. Anne is precious in how she has such love and understanding for her husband. I’ve been working on these things. Changing how I think is an ongoing challenge. I am encouraged. Dr Natali helps me, now you too Anne. God bless you both for helping all of us out here navigating these different waters.

Watching Dr. Natali and Teepa Snow really helped me understand what my brother was going through being his wife's caregiver. Our dementia journey began 6 years ago and ended on 12-23-2023. This was very helpful.

Thank you for this encouraging video. Working on these things everyday. The poem "Away" resonated deeply 😭 It was like hearing my feelings being read aloud. Can't wait until her book is published! Going out to buy another novel tomorrow to slip away a little ❤

I am amazed at how you bring to the fore exactly what I need as a Caregiver and as a volunteer facilitator of a dementia support group here in Scotland. This poetry is so so beautiful and relevant for me and for carers in my Community. Thank you Dr Natali and thanks to your guest today. 🙏

Why I continue to watch Dr. Natali and Teepa Snow I don’t know. My caretaking journey ended 10/19/23 when Mom joined Dad. Now they are “Together forever”! Thanks for the beautiful poems and all your info Dr Natali.

Crying my eyes out I'm going through this with my mom. She has terminal cancer and demetia. I had to leave the workforce to be a sole cargiver. I have no help right now. I'm really struggling and I know that I can turn this into a creative outlet for myself but the depression gets deep. I'm struggling about the being right thing. I need to pratice the dementia lie.
