Very nice vid dude! Scenery for this was a great choice. Love the inset of the landing gear lowering for final. If I remember the key for the yoke is Y or SHIFT + Y (acts as a toggle). Great landing in the choppy conditions.

Normally, you put the CTOT ON, after you have set the initial power according to powersetting table for TKOF. At least, that how we used to do it on SKYWAYS Sweden. Nice video! :-) Thanks

@@BluGames No worries! :-) Later in Australia I flew for REX, they had strange procedures compared what I was used to. :-D Ex. the captain started the engines all by himself leaving the copilot out of the loop. In Sweden it was a two man job to start the engines, Captain ordered the fuel on to the copilot during start and the copilot was also to read out loud the engine parameters.

@@BluGames The reason you set CTOT after initial TKOF power, is that you get a TQ (Propeller torque swing) I recall it was at 60% towards the CTOT value. (Not good for the engines or the passenger ) Do not forget to turn it off during cruise, or you will have a surprice !

Nice landing...would've fore sure crashed the plane. was wondering why though it seemed that you came in really low....it seemed like you were skimming the top of the trees for the last little bit there. I guess it couldn't be avoided but that was some expert piloting and you greased it on the way down. I've had some bad landings in this plane so far...just trying the St. Maarten to St. Kitts Bradshaw International run until I get used to it :)

I have the GTN750 installed but my aircraft won't follow NAV. Autopilot is on . NAV is on but it won't follow the flight plan.

Fabulous, entertaining and well cut. I'm considering adding this to my collection. One question, do you know if you can assign keyboard shortcuts for some of the switches? I'm particularly interested in being able to control the frequently used switches like lights and autopilot modes, as well as opening and closing the popup windows? I use the Elgato Stream Deck as a keyboard switch panel but this relies upon being able to set keyboard shortcuts. Well my man, thanks a million once again for a great and informative flight. I shall be sure to consider flying with you on my next trip 8-)

By the way, the "too low flap" is a configuration warning because you didn't have full flap but were below a certain height. It's not informing you necessariily to put flaps down, just a warning in case you weren't aware. Part of the ground proximity warning collection

Yes, I have flown it in xp10 and 11..and the recent update solved a lot of problems that XP 11 brought to the 340. I was really kinda shocked when Carenado came out with it's version. I know a lot of people do not like Carenado's work..but I do. I was amazed at the quality of Carenado's version. I think the Carenado version is better, but I was curious at what you would say. Does the GTN accept the Navigraph data? So, to be clear, you did NOT have to go into panel maker, etc. to make the GTN fit in the dash, right?

I think GTN has its own seperate data it is not synced with my navagraph. And no you do not do anything with your saab aircraft file for gtn to work with in the panel

Yes my computer was built by maingear.com and my specs are in the description. I dont know alot about cpu specs, i just told them what i needed to it for and they recommended me the parts and pieces.

@@Nates707 At minimum for a good experience you need atleast 8gb ram, some good processor 4 cores 8 threads around 3.4ghz something, and definitely a good gpu i recommend NVIDIA GPUs as they are better optimized for XP11 OpenGl, I have experience with the Gtx 1050 Ti and Rx 470 and the 1050 Ti does a way better job even though the Rx 470 is better, XP11 isn't really well optimized, Vulkan is out gonna try my luck :)

@@BluGames Yeah just had a quick look over at Carenado, says it's VR optimised so looking good. Yes mate VR is fantastic In Xplane 11, once you sit inside that cockpit in VR and fly you'll never want to go back to monitor though:).

@@BluGames I've been using X-Plane in VRwith a Rift and a Vive. Resolution however is still too low to be able to read the instruments, especially in complicated aircrafts like these. Only very small single seated airplanes qualify for flying them in VR while being able to read the few instruments in such planes. The immersion however, is absolutely fantastic!

Are your VIEWS from “X-Camera’s - Airport Views”...?? Haven’t toyed around with those views yet. When you set up Airport views, You are watching the plane land on “Replay” mode,...right ??

Yes i use X-Camera. And the airport views allow you to create views that are linked with that specific airport or location. There are alot of possibilities with it when you get the hang of it. I love it
