Cargelligo Fishing

Managed to slip away with the kids for a couple of days at the start of the school summer holidays to the the little town of Lake Cargelligo and surrounds. We stayed at the Lake Cargelligo Motel for a very reasonable price and took advantage of the quiet pool and BBQ facilities. We fished the first evening at the lake itself which only produced a couple of small carp. On the second and third days we headed to the weir for a fish and again only caught carp at much larger sizes.

That carp was absolutely massive. Havent seen a carp that big on Australian fishing videos. Well done you teach kids to fish. Better than most other things kids do these days.
