Yeah the amount of bait going in that lake definitely puts their weights up! The biggest real wild carp I know of are from lake Cassien but they still go up to 90lbs though, they just look a bit leaner and healthier!

Honestly the world record carp was caught here in Hungary , the only things you need to know about the lake is that there is limited fishing , so obviously there is less feeding on the lake than on other lakes , but the special thing about the lake is that it is rich in nutrients , so it is not because of over feeding that it has grown to this size . The only downside is that Hungarians are not allowed to fish on it , like myself , despite the fact that it is in Hungarian territory.

in the great water in south holland,named Hollands diep,are swimming big carps even bigger then the present world record,i cuaght 1 few yrs back,had to lift it out the water with 3 men,the fish a mirror carp,long 131 cm,a gurth of 130 cm,was over 50 kilos,i had no camera at hand,only w scale and measure tape.i marked the fish by cutting 2 notches in his back fin.and i heard stories from other fishers,the did same with fish well over 120 cm.

Got a 15lber today, but 60+:broke my lews tournament grade pistol grip yesterday. There are beasties in my lake, if I get up in the 100+ range I will tag you in. My lake hasn't been fished since the 80's and there are carp that are the size of dolphins in there!

Sorry old boy but fish don"t break rods...fishermen break rods. Tarpon over 100# are caught on fly rods. A rod will only handle a certain amount of stress. I saw a fellow break a Berkley Lightning rod by bending it too close to the tip.

@knothead5 I've had many poles snap, it's easy to call balls/strikes after the fact. But when your in it with basszilla, sometimes the adrenaline can get the best of anyone.and to be clear, they pole snapped under the reel in the replacable pistol grip. That pole is still good as new today.

Euro Aqua Lake. It's like fishing in a aquarium. All the fish come from Balaton, stolen from there. And why they are so big??? The owner of Euro Aqua feeds the fish 400 Kg (!!!) maize, DAILY !!! And it must be obvious that Euro Aqua is heavily over-populated. How else can somebody catch over 70 such big carp in one week?? NO, Euro Aqua is nothing for me. I rather catch a 30-40 pounder from a big river or a 5000 acre lake. For me that's a bigger price than an 70-80 pounder from Euro. ⬇️
