It is based on EMD JT46 series. JT stands for Pilot Room/Cab at both ends (either streamlined locomotive body or narrow locomotive body), while 46 stands for EMD 16-710 prime mover.

Yes, Rena is located at the Røros- line between Hamar and Røros. The line has only DMU traffic now, at least north of Koppang. Log trains operate on the section between Hamar and Koppang.

Ours have been given the tops number Class 68 and are owned by DRS (Direct Rail Services also Chiltern Railways for the Birmingham Snow Hill to Marylebone services and Scot Rail for the Fife Circle

@@z00h No. They are not one. Class 67 is EMD JT-42-HW-HS, using EMD 12 cylinders 710G-3C, while EURO 4000 is based on EMD JT-46-CW, using 16 cylinders 710G-3C.
