It's not due to sound regulations. This is a naturally aspirated engine. They use back pressure to create more horsepower at low RPM

My old f87 m2 had 1 valve closed whilst pottering around, even in Sport+, and would open if I really put my foot down. W205 C63 also has the same issue and RBR installed a valve controller on his facelift car. Both these cars have turbos in

I got mine from Parr specialist. But most Porsche specialists will probably provide it. Or just order from Cargraphic and get a a dealer to install it for you
