Yep, my 2024 Cadillac XT4 (0-60 in 7 sec) is quicker than my 2014 Toyota Highlander (0-60 in 7.6 sec) that I traded in. XT4 also handles better too. I upgraded from a 2014 Toyota Highlander to a 2024 Cadillac XT4 this past weekend (the 2024 highlander drove the same and is pretty much the same chasis and interior so it's boring). The Cadillac XT4 has no turbo lag that I can feel. Every other car that I test drove had turbo lag, whether short or long...Mercedes GLC300 (least turbo lag), BMW X3 (a little more turbo lag), Porsche Macan S (even more turbo lag), Honda (way too much turbo lag). The Cadillac has these features that KZbinrs miss: - lighted logo behind the dashboard - pulsating safety seat (most cars only beep) - left behind child in the rear seat alert - capless fuel tank (like my 2017 Corvette C7 ) - umbrella storage in the doors (like Rolls Royce) - active noise cancellation (like my 2017 Corvette C7 with Bose) - power passenger seat with lumbar - free 5G hotspot - stop/start feature is the smoothest I’ve ever experienced that I don't even notice it. My other car is a 2017 Corvette Stingray in stickshift.

Currently looking at a large amount of vehicles across all Asian brands, and categories. I really like the new Crown Signia, but I need the third row, the normal Highlander I feel for the price is not the best but I do not like the Grand Highlander either. The best available powertrain is the 2.5 Hybrid, tbh I truly believe this class needs a V6 Hybrid. But you can only get a Platinum with the Hybrid Max or the Gas only which are both 2.4 Turbo's which I do not like the use of Turbo's on normal cars. That turbocharger means more maintenance and repairs in the future. So you will miss some good features if you stick with the 2.5 Hybrid. The 360 camera and panoramic roof are extra options, all in you are at $54.8K MSRP, which no Toyota dealer will sell to you at that price. To be fair the Palisade and it's sister the Telluride will also have market adjustments. But the tech is far superior on the Hyundai, more kit for the money, and you get a V6 that has been proven to be solid. My gripe with the Palisade is no hybrid option, so the fuel economy is the downside. Also the JBL system is really horrible, overall Toyota is riding on it's brand name for this vehicle, and it works because people believe the Toyota badge means quality. But I would not be buying any Toyota built in the U.S, similar with Hyundai. The Grand Highlander is made in Indiana, the same facility where the faulty Twin Turbo Tundra's are coming from, the Palisade is coming from Ulsan, South Korea. I am no Toyota hater, I recommend a ton of Toyota's to people, just that this is not one of them. Still on the search though, but if I had to buy something right now it would be the Palisade.

I'm 6'4", so when you say "larger in every way", what about the "less headroom" and "2.5" less leg room"? Hmmm ... fact check time. I don't have kids and will likely never use the 3rd row, so I'm only even considering these vehicles for driver space and comfort. Did you get compensated by T?
@JIRO-FX31504 ай бұрын
You can make a cheaper car by lowering the quality, or you can spend money to change the interior design, but I think BYD is the only one that has the potential to surpass Toyota in terms of hybrid engines, but Toyota is currently in the lead. is. I think it has an advantage over F22 and F16.

Don't care how "reliable" or "better deppreciation" toyotas has. Nothing justifies paying $7K+ extra for a comparably equipped Toyota. Besides, Hyundai's reliability and deppreciations has improved significantly in the last decade or so. Nothing against toyota, i have owned a couple in the past, but Toyota is overpriced, overhyped..

It's actually kinda insane how much of a propaganda review this is for Toyota. He very clearly ignored tons of Palisade features that make it far more functional and upscale-feeling than the Grand Highlander. As somebody who has sat in both and talked to tons of other people who have to, I've literally never spoken with somebody who felt like the GH felt more upscale than the Palisade. I literally spent a split second in the GH before I felt like I got teleported back to 2015. And let's not forget the tremendously noticeable difference in leg and shoulder room in the driver's seat, which he played down a ton. I understand that no human being is objective, but please at least try to be. If y'all really wanna see good, reasonably objective car reviews and comparisons, go check out Car Confections. They keep it real always and don't play favoritism for any brand.
