I’d think this is the best first car if you really save your money as a high schooler looking for a car to get through college, you can pick one up for about 15-16K which is a steal now idk about reliability, so that would be a grey zone

Does it make a sound when switching modes? And I was told to stop then switch modes, in my 14 I could switch modes in the middle of driving 🤔

Drive modes change shift positions. It is a good practice in any car to change "modes" at a stop to prevent harsh transitions.

i have the same car and I love it but the engine is pretty loud cuz of the direct injection
