That guy is filling in the bearing lubrication holes for the oil. The engine that's being put in is fucking toast. Not to mention the integrity of the crankshaft being compromised from fucking WELDING it.

Man I've never had trouble with 10mm sockets. Nor has my dad- we only have one between us and we never lose it. But I have dropped a 6mm wrench into the engine bay of my taurus, to never see it again despite lots of searching, shaking, and quick accelerating and then sharp braking. The engine bay ate it

When I saw that I yelled "NO F'N way has to be fake" I had the EXACT same thing happen to my truck. The tire shop gave me back the side cutters and I still have them. That clip is not from my truck, I had Silent Armor trucks trucks.

After years of working on my own cars and doing some mechanic work as a job, i still cannot unsee some of the things ive seen. Had one tounger lady say her car started making a noise in the rear the day before. When we put it on the lift, her passenger rear tire and suspension proceeded to drop out from under the car. It was only hanging on by 1 bolt in the lower a arm.

IIRC I broke 4 separate hangars for the end of my exhaust in the first year I had my truck.....and the coathangar I used as a quick fix is still going strong to this day 5 years later

4:15 Once saw a car with coolant like that. It clogged up the coolant system, causing high pressure in the radiator and a blown head gasket. The vehicle was totalled and is now being converted into a simulator.

1:20 I remember when I was a lube tech at a Hyundai dealership and we got a custom Hellcat Challenger in (car was bought at the dealership with an unlimited oil change policy thing) It had a real splitter on it and we had a lot of trouble getting it off to get to the oil cooler and we can thankfully say that it was fastened with about 100 less screws than that faux carbon "splitter"

I clicked in this because I once owned a 64 Impala, that had motor oil that was tan when I bought it, but at time stamp 0.39 I’m shocked at Mr. Domass welding with no darkened face shield, welding helmet or darkened goggles.

Ancient tuner mythology states that if you weld a crankshaft on the connecting rod lobes you'll achieve +100 torque. Doing it without a welders mask doubles the effect.

That opening just happened to my Civic a year ago!! I'd got a flat repaired at, idk, Walmart or some shit, and they'd cross threaded ALL FIVE of my nuts 😭 Not something you discover til you break your studs taking the wheel off
