Our first ever cruise!!!
I’ve just got back from a Caribbean cruise on P&O new ship Arvia! We visited Antigua, St Kitts, Martinique, St Lucia, Barbados, British Virgin Islands, Dominican Republic and St Marten and oh my god haven’t we made some amazing memories 🥹 sorry about the bittyness of this vlog but we tried to capture as much as we could whilst just really enjoying ourselves! Hi, do you know what time the shows were on in the theatre please and was there a long wait at dinner time for a table? Going with my fiancé and we usually eat around 7:30pm. Thanks x

Did you find the trips and exertions busy and get fully booked? Also are they expensive to book extras like turtle swimming or kayaking ?

Some of them are busier than others and again price also varies. If there’s any you’d really like to do I’d book them asap. But there are some which you can book on the ship still if there’s space and you can always check on the day to see what’s available. If you miss out there’s always excursions in port you can book as well that are often cheaper than P&O but obviously if you’re late etc. with them the boat won’t wait for you.

How did you find getting access to sunbeads and the pools? also which pool area was the least crowded in your opinion? going on this later on in the year. Also, how did you book the charter boat ride at the virgin islands? Was it on or off ship?

You do have to get up early (be around the pool between 7:00-7:30) to get ‘good sunbeds’ which are typically around the edge of the ship near a pool, then even earlier if you want to be at the busier pool and bar at the back of the ship. The least crowded pool was the one on the top deck near at the front of the boat, which we went to most sea days, but was still very busy! We booked the boat trip though P&O and think it was described along the lines of ‘powerboat around Virgin Islands’. Hope you have a great time when you go!
