This video is why I booked a hunt in 2018 in the brooks range for Caribou and Grizzly. I opted to hunt with a guide as I could not get anyone to go with me. Thanks for the inspiration. I too wanted to go to Alaska all my life. My Hunt was a success I was able to harvest a old Grizzly 7 plus feet and a nice Caribou bull with 31 points. I did it because I to looked at my own mortally. do it while you can. I am 56. thanks guys for a great video.

Bro this hit home so much. I just moved to Alaska, it's 2023 for me and I'M 37. The craziest part of this is I just tore my bicep 8 months ago. Which was my "eye opening epiphany" that I'm getting old. 😂 Take a wild guess as to why I moved up here?!?! Same midlife crisis as you brotha!!! 😂😂 Now here I am researching moose hunts near Bettles Alaska in the Brook Range. If you have any tips man I would certainly appreciate them. 😊

would you care to share the name of the outfit that flew you out for caribou? I'm planning a hunt like that for a couple a years out and the fishing and caribou looks like a great option.

The outfit we flew with has since decided to no longer fly hunters. Brooks range aviation is an option to look at. They are out of Battles.

Why hunt caribou ? All you say is "it's an easy tag to get."?? Nothing about the taste of the meat ? That tells me all I need to hear about why you hunt.
