I feel you with the whole "these people hate me" front. Recently, what's helped me with those thoughts is a story I read on twitter where the person tweeting had explained this fear to a friend of theirs, that they would worry the other person must hate them or think that the time spent with them was a waste. The friend they had been telling this to stopped for a moment and then said,"that kind of hurts that you think I could think that way of you." Every time I catch myself entering the mindset that people must hate me, I think about the friend's response and am just SLAMMED with the reminder that no good person would ever feel or think that way about me, and for me to think that way about them is incredibly uncharitable to their position in this relationship or interaction.

What a nifty blog! Whenever I travel, I always want to try the food. Despite all being humans, it's amazing how different food can be across the world! Everything you ate looked so delicious! We use quinoa as a substitute for cous cous as a wheat-free option. It’s funny to see what is “cheap” and “expensive” in different places. All cheese is so cheap in the UK, but eating out if definitely a treat.

Any time you wander around eating, I enjoy. I watched Howl's Moving Castle for the first time in January. 3 weeks later I got a black Husky/Collie mix puppy and named him Howl. Merry-go-round of life is his theme song. Its on average 14-17 degrees in my part of the pacific northwest, coldest wettest summer ever. I envy your summer weather. We are having a hard time just growing tomatoes.

My favorite cheap meal I'd cook for myself when I lived in Seoul was broccoli and tomatoes that I'd roast in the fish griller with a little olive oil and feta. Can be eaten on its own or with quinoa or pasta. I loved it because broccoli and tomatoes are crazy cheap at the market! And they're both quite expensive where I'm from.

I grew up in California so we tend to vear towards the Spanish for a lot of food vocab, so out west we use garbanzo for chick peas. But now I live in France where even though Spain is so close no one knows what in the hell I'm saying, lol (I say cilantro for coriander too, lol), I have to use the French version, pois chiche (it literally means chick pea, lol), or say in English chick pea. But I find Italian ceci (chechi) to be the cutest version of it, lol

Spanish is pretty far off from French, tho (I speak both). Spanish and Italian, on the other hand, are decently similar, and Portuguese is very close to Spanish. French is that weird cousin in the romance language family lol.
