Serena won the race for the Jamaicans. The Jamaican quartet came with a mission i.e. to break the junior world record. And they did. Brianna was super at the curve. The Clayton's sisters were superb . These 4 girls are truly promising sprinters. The authorities should keep and nurture these girls together. They are the future of Jamaica's relay team. They surely will deliver in subsequent world championships at their level. They will eventually metamorphose into the senior level. What a race!! These girls definitely knew their mission and confidently executed it. Apart from some flaw in the first baton change, it was as perfect as one could get. I'm a proud Caribbean man from Barbados, but Jamaica absolutely have the superior athletes
@ericsnow20692 жыл бұрын
Cant compare an island of 290K to one with over 3 million. Barbados just has to put money behind the athletes and train them and you will see what you consider to be superior athletes. The genetics of the slave trade is present in any of the islands and ports in the US you simply have to put the resources behind them.
@rqubed26032 жыл бұрын
@@ericsnow2069 That's an idiotic argument. It's like saying Jamaica can't expect to whoop USA's ass in sprints because we have 1% of their population. Barbados is richer than Jamaica and closer to first world status. The issue is never investment either. Jamaica's best athletes still train on grass. No one loves and supports athletics like Jamaicans. No one. It's our national religion.
