Serena won the race for the Jamaicans. The Jamaican quartet came with a mission i.e. to break the junior world record. And they did. Brianna was super at the curve. The Clayton's sisters were superb . These 4 girls are truly promising sprinters. The authorities should keep and nurture these girls together. They are the future of Jamaica's relay team. They surely will deliver in subsequent world championships at their level. They will eventually metamorphose into the senior level. What a race!! Honestly l love to see these young women run and run until they become legends in sprinting.

As someone who use to run (mainly 100m and relay) I ALWAYS looked up to Jamaicans, although I don't run anymore I LOVE watching Athletics/Olympics just to watch Jamaicans. They never EVER failed to disappoint me and they always make me feel so emotional. Running use to be my absolute passion until I ruined it if I didn't I only would have hoped to run for my country today in the Olympics🇬🇧. But Jamaicans are a different level, I'm so proud of them and definitely have the BEST runners... Continue to make me proud, when I see you guys win it only reminds me of the feeling when I use to always win my races (I was the fastest girl when I was in school). Forever will always be my inspiration in running💚🇯🇲

Cant compare an island of 290K to one with over 3 million. Barbados just has to put money behind the athletes and train them and you will see what you consider to be superior athletes.
