Met her in 2012 at a Puscifer concert. We had second row seats. It was my 39th B day. My ex got her, all members of Puscifer and all but one member from A Perfect Circle (all except Maynard) to wish me happy birthday, shook hands got pictures and an autographed poster signed by everyone. Didn't get to meet Maynard that night, but still the best night of my life!

And performer and writer. She's an absolute perfectionist with her own music, also understanding the full force of well written and honest lyrics. One of her earliest band mates used to say "carina is all about the performance". And that's true, it is her strongest talent, but beneath that is someone who reads voraciously, and hollows out her soul into the powerful and beautiful words..... Some of her recent stuff is on par with Joni Mitchell's best works for emotional connection. Truly captures spaces many of us have been.

Arrived at Corina via Puscifer. Can'r believe I have only just discovered this gem of an artist. Her voice reminds me a lot of Jeff Buckley with its range and ethereal tremolo and like him she is just as comfortable singing tenderly and vulnerably one moment then going fullblown into angry but controlled screams. I have always loved unusual female singer songwriters e.g. Fiona Apple, Tori Amos, Alanis Morissette, Regina Spektor. P.J.Harvey, Kate Bush to name but a few and Corina is definitely worthy of being named alongside them all. Looking forward to going down the rabbit hole for an in depth exploration
