Since they cannot preen/clean bugs, what do u suggest?

Thank you for watching and asking this great question! Make sure they have access to a dust bath, as this will help them stay free of bugs. Some beak trimming may help them to be able to preen. If the cross beak is severe and the chicken is unable to preen, we can help by very gently running fingers through their feathers. 💖
