One thing I would like to add about transitioning clones from clone room or whatever environment you have for seedlings and clones, is just when you put it in the regular environment for veg, just make sure to add the clones at a greater distance from the lights at first. And like Mr growit said as long as the environment doesn't change drastically you won't have any plant loss or stunting

the indoor/outdoor is easy, both goin out or coming in each day start with indirect sun see how it reacts, try half hour the next day, maybe an hour the next, the slower you do this process the less stress, same as the clone dome, open the vents and take if off a bit longer each day to clear the humidity and condensation

Deffo very informative guys. I need to work on humidity but blown all my money on everything else 🤣. I put a dome over the seedlings and can’t really comment much on technique yet as I’m still theorising after putting all the information i watch thru the channels you’ve created. Thanks again id be light years behind without watching you 3 musgroteers! ✌️

Looking forward to this episode as seedling stage is where I’m struggling especially with the first few weeks of autos. Using women’s cotton pads the thick ones I’ve found are the best in a dish wrapped in a bag closed with as much air in there as possible. I’ve also noticed from the few beans I’ve popped so far that the deeper it’s in the medium the better the shell will be pulled off when it pushes thru the medium. But my theory I’ve only tried once so next time I pop some I’ll have to try it again and share my findings. I’ve watched a seedling germinate in cotton and when the leaves start to show it’s bent into its self so the tap root is growing down the steam is shooting up and the seed shell with the leaves in it are bent over almost 360 degrees so I theory was that plant it down around half inch into the medium but not too soon or not too late it has to be right. If it’s not in that sprouting stage from germinating in the cotton it hasn’t absorbed enough moisture to carry its self onto the sprouting stage. I feel it has to be just right my opinion would be a good inch or two on the tap root and those leaves really wanna come out. Also make sure the medium is ready! Another story 🤣

I like clear Solo cups. You see moisture and root growth. If it's happy, quicker into pot.

roots don’t like light. i would recommend putting it in another non-see-through cup so the roots aren’t exposed to light but you can still check the roots.

Use a color cup over the clear c7up,cuts breather holes in the clear cup so a week after starting your seed youcan bottom feedsee and not have to shove the 5:45 😮

I’m not into the paper method. I’ve got arthritis and this method requires more dexterity than I can manage. I drop the seeds in water, keep in the dark, and check them twice a day. As soon as I see the seed crack open, I transfer to soil. I don’t worry about up or down, just into very moist soil, about 1/4 inch deep. Then into high humidity and warm temp. NO WATERING for at least a week. Ask me how I know! If they look dry, I spray a little water on the surface.

@@ZephyWinds Hi Ho Zeph'. You can use Hydrogen peroxide solution for spray. It also provides an oxygen boost, cos hydrogen peroxide has two hydrogen atoms and two oxygen atoms. But yeah, 3% hydrogen peroxide (diluted) works good. 6% needs more dilution

Thanks for the great show. I have an idea that I think would help clarify some terminology being used. What do you think about calling genetics ( breeder genetics)? For example- if another breeder makes chill out og seeds they might be different than your originals so calling them breeder genetics might help explain more?

Random question if a tent has 4 feminized plants in it one out the 4 herms balls and bust pollen are the others that got pollinated accidentally now a cross with the hermie and if so would all those seeds be hermie since one of the parents did.
@abyssdevin3632
@abyssdevin3632 4 күн бұрын
Yes. The resulting seeds are a genetic cross between the hermaphrodite plant and the plants it pollinated. Not necessarily, but they are more likely to have a higher risk of hermaphroditis.
