is it okay to put my crown of thorns by a grow lamp light as it propagates in soil inside?

Hi! I wanna ask if i can use substrate that were made for cactus? Just bought a Crown of thorn plant but it's in a VERY SMALL pot, so i want to replant it in a bigger pot. I have substrate at home for cactusses and also coco substrate you normally use for terrariums. Should i mix it, or is the cactus substrate enough? Thanx for your answer! Sorry for my english i'm from Hungary.

I have had one for years, given by a grandparent who’s no longer with us. All of a sudden it dried out other than a few tips. Is there anything I can do to save her? HELP please!

It would have been more effective by actually seen the pruning being done. I grow mine in a pot and now its just too tall.

See Maria's Garden on KZbin. She has a great video dedicated to Crown of Thorns including how to repot, propagate, etc.

Sounds like too much water. If its not limp, soggy you can cut the top off and propagate it. See Maria's Garden here on KZbin. She has a very good video dedicated to this plant. I left mine outside during a heavy rain. Thought it would dry out on its own. Nope. There were 3 stems. I lost 2. I cut them off, let them dry out and repotted. One made it. Not bad, I thought since this plant, and succulants in general are new to me.

I've found that my crown-of-thorns can handle nights that dip as low as 50"F. But even one night of 49°F will traumatize it, requiring months to recover.
