The same happened to my old mare back in 2014. She wasn’t mine I shared her with a woman who treated her and me like we had no emotions or feeling. This mare was a strong ex polo mare who I’d taught to jump (only 60-80cm) but I learned with her. She was a huge part of my life. One day we came back from the stables and I was told she was being moved somewhere far from us. And boom she was gone the next day and I didn’t even get to say goodbye. I haven’t got to visit her, I don’t know how she is being treated. Heck I don’t even know if she is alive. This mare meant everything to me and she deserved to have a home and not be moved around so many times. I’m just glad she felt the love of a little girl (me) at least once in her life. Several years on and I still cry for her andI will never forgive the person who took her from me. But I will always have a little bit of hope that I could see her again. But idek if she is alive. I hope she is. I swear to god I will find that horse again. She was my life.

Matilda Longnight. Dont give up Matilda. With social media you can put out notices, etc., and draw back your beloved horse to you again. Think hard and try to pick up some leads. Think of a person you can ask who might have information. Dont give up. But in the meantime, i hope you can get a horse who needs love and whom you could make so happy. You are a wonderful soul. Matilda Longnight you have me absolutely sobbing, my story is similar to yours except I'm much older now and have had to quit riding altogether because of medical reasons, which have led to financial problems, I'm beyond depressed everyday, horses were my life for years n years n years. I showed hunters n jumpers, Thru all of the horses ive had I had such a connection with one of my trainers horses, who allowed me to ride daily and show on the west coast show circuit, over a couple year period we won everything, then we were at a schooling show one day and he was loaded in a trailer and gone, I wasn't allowed to even finish my classes that day, while I was getting things ready to get on again he was taken, I guess my trainer was offered a bundle for him but I didn't even get to say goodbye, I can still remember the smell of his sweat, and his soft muzzle,I miss all the horse's that had been in my life, I often wonder how I got sick and how ive ended up in a horseless world, I moved from calif to Minnesota to take care of my sick mom, got stuck here since getting sick myself, I honestly don't know how I even make it to the next day cuz it HURTS THAT MUCH...OK, ive cried all my makeup off so time to shut up, Ty for listening as I know u understand

Been doing some research and found out carino is a half brother to my horse (by Larino) and I can really see the similarities especially in their temperament. Larino seems to produce very kind and honest horses who are in turn talented and athletic, I'm very sorry that you had to say good bye too him because I know how much I love my boy! He's got a big future and you've been the start and foundation to his story x

On saturday a horse named navajo got sold... I miss him so much he was not my horse but i rode him many times and loved him he was the perfect horse... I am still really Sad about it... But i Will never forget him and the time we had together... Even if i met him in june i still love him so much... Well i hope i Will see him one Day agian...

Everytime I watch this it breaks my heart! You should NEVER have had to go through this kind of pain when you were just a young man wanting to ride and have fun with this beautiful horse. I would give anything to go through this myself so that you would not have to experience this sad time! You are a stronger man now after weathering this storm but it was unnecessary & needlessly hurtful. Wish i could go back in time to prevent it somehow. Stay strong, Little Prince! ❤️
