Very well spoken and intelligent, great interview. You learned a lot in just 3 years more than some Guyanese who lived there all their life. 🇬🇾🇨🇦

This interview was very valuable to me being british-guyanese and finally pulling the trigger to go over there to live as a digital nomad for a while. Interesting to hear Carinya's experience, the interviewer asked all the right questions.

Caringya Sharples, great to listen to your experiences and contributions in Guyana. Hope you can go back there and have greater experiences to share with Guyana and the world . I am happy you are proud of your roots in Guyana. I agree that Guyana and The Caribbean should be in school curriculum in England because the people in England can learn about their colonised English roots and the common wealth history..To the interviewer , don't be afraid to go there. I don't know if you have friends or relatives there but follow your heart . You sound British ,yourself but go and explore. There are lovely ,,friendly ,hospitable people in GUYABA.

Guyana has a newly elected and competent government. Oil money is starting to flow into the economy. Based on oil/gas alone and population density, Guyana is the richest country in the world. She will be back...🤑🤑🤑

Always so negative comments coming from you people, FYI the current Govt was involved in Narcotics and numerous murders of young Afro Guyanese men and women, FYI the current Govt Governed Guyana for 23 years and guess what, Guyana was listed as the most corrupt in the world...
@shampersaud27634 жыл бұрын
@@theturbo1958 There is nothing negative about others comments except yours. What's wrong with some Guyanese is they cannot bear to have a decent , committed Government who stood for democracy and fairness .They prefer Leaders who are poor with communication , Lack Adaptability, Little vision for the future, ,Lack of accountability and transparency, Poor integrity as long as they fit in with their race. When APNUAFC won the election in 2015, people of other parties especially PPPC, graciously handed over their Government duties to them despite being disappointed so everyone eventually accepted the APNUAFC only to realise how they deceived the people failed to deliver their duties miserably. I am not saying that PPPC was perfect but based on their track records, they have contributed by far , to the country's economy than APNUAFC did. Lets not stifle our conscience. I was very proud of the way President Hoyte governed the country eventually after he was severly hit by a tragedy of loosing hix children in a car crash. That had opened his heart more so to do great to the country. God bless his and family's souls in eternal peace. Leader such as Dr Cheddie Jagan never failed his people because he wanted to unite the nation, hence ONE PEOPLE, ONE NATION, ONE DESTINY after he won Independence for Guyana from The British. But his best friend FOrbes Burnham deceived him. because of mistrust and jealousy .
