I just want to add that instead of choosing white for the line color, I prefer to choose "no color" so that my design is actually a little more bold. Thanks again for such a great video! I know this is old but I found this SO helpful!! I'm finally diving into Silhouette (switching from a Cricut Expressions Air that can't kiss cut uniformly to save its life) and am going to start playing around with the Silhouette Studio tonight! My favorite, affordable paper is called Spectrum and I am totally forgetting the brand, right now, but that's the specific label's name. I've had a helluva time finding a premium matte that is within my budget, as a low-quantity ordering DIYer, but the one I mentioned earlier is a really beautiful regular matte with excellent color payoff! I'm curious if you've moved on to a paper that you love? Thanks so much for your videos!!

Hi Carissa. Your videos are extremely well done. I am new to silhouette and planning and can't seem to get traction because I can't cut stickers yet. Cut lines are not recognized on silhouette software and it keeps freezing. Do you have a very detailed beginners tutorial or can you recommend one. I'm wondering though when you set those banners to be 1" in height, when printed does it translate exactly 1" too? Sorry for thats kinda a dumb question.

Thank you for the very informative video! I have one problem and was wondering if you or anyone else experience it to? I don't have a printer attached to my computer but the family does. I saved it as a pdf like you said, print it from the family printer, and used my cameo. however, no matter what I've tried, the cutting is ALWAYS off even though the registration lines are all there. do you know what could be the issue?

Hello, This is by far the one tutorial I was able to follow from beginning until min 13:04 there are other options for cutting here that I'm not sure where to put them, so my blade has to be in 1 and the blade setting on the silhouette app also 1 but there is a "thickness" i'm not sure where is supposed to be, I will play around with the numbers this is actually attempt num 2 hehe :-) I got my machine yesterday
