This MV and song touched on various social issues that many of people experience. It portray mental illness, social issues and media control. Yongguk just came back from his hiatus - he was diagnosed with Panic disorder so this song is kind really personal for him. First woman lying on the floor in front of the mirror tries to look "pretty" like the ideal of beauty viewed by society, but she became more and more frustrated because she can't. She can represented the self-conscious side of various people in the society which desire to fit in the criteria of actually canon of "beauty" and that tearing people's confidence apart. Black man in the bathroom (this one which you didn't notice) probably he represent people with depression and anxiety. Another guy in badroom, he probably suffer from schizophremia or I read theory that he is drug addict. He isn't unaware of the reality that he lives in. He didn't notice a dead people around him because he is still in his own world. The girl in the hall, she is drinking down countless pills and she is a impersonation of a person with suicidal throughts. And woman in the kitchen. She is suffering from eating dicorder. Again, as first girl, she want to blend in social criteria of "beauty". We all have brainwashing. We live in world where rules canons, and lies. Man standing with a baner: Emotion rEVOLution represent of publick demonstrations. But people ignore him, pass by him. Nobody listened to him but when B.A.P appear on the TV, people immediately pays attention to them. They say exacly the same as this man. The only difference is that, B.A.P are in TV. And that is "media control". It looks like, it's not important what we have to say, but who and where says it. Other things with this baner: Emotion rEVOLution - the EVOL letters in REVOLUTION were written backwards, spelling the word: LOVE. B.A.P want to show that revolution can be seen as form of fighiting for what we believe in right way. We can cure this word from coldness, injustice and replace with love and passion. And this issues can touch everyone. That's why in MV we have people diffrent race and nationality (btw. first time in Kpop MV!) And of cours like always with B.A.P I recommended to watch this MV with lyrics :D I hope I help in some point. But still it's only theory. And sorry for my English. It's not my first language.

The explanation for the rose is the album is Rose. Bryson got his wish. There's 6 members. The 7th has been removed. There's no theory. The video is about mental and social issues. If you look up the English lyrics you'll see that. Yongguk only got one verse because although his panic disorder is better he still needs to take it slow. They're not trying to force him too much into it. If you watch it live you'll notice a) that Yongguk is only in the second half of the performance and b) Himchan is either not there, or doesn't dance because he fractured his ribs and had to sit out promotions. He promoted at first, but them had to be excused. I don't really agree with your comment about the song beung generic. The lyrics, the video, the composition. The song overall is unique in the world of kpop. Matt who's your bias. P.S. React to Sonamoo.

Cookie Monster lol Wake me up grew on me. Thing is the song Beat is the same from debut to end reason why some people find it generic even the instrumentals chosen are very good and in my opinion the vocals are the best things on the song especially YoungJae voice here is the highlight

About the yongguk thing, he had just one verse because he probably still isn't fully recovered (he had to sit through the last comeback because of mental issues) and the rest of the boys did a really good job in filling his spot. And if you look at the live performance, you can see how respectful they are of him and letting him dance at the back but when it was his time to rap, the whole stage was his :')

istg I listen to this song everyday about 10 times. it's so addicting to hear? I get chills every time yongguks solo comes on- it's the best part about the song after daehyuns high notes 😂😂 but bryson man...he never fails to make me laugh. he's that kinda friend who you always want to punch in the face but you can't because they always find a way to make you laugh and not want to punch them just because of that 😂

There are a lot of symbolisms from V for Vendetta in this MV. These MV and song are very deep with a great message behind. Thank you so much for reacting to B.A.P! ^o^

I can understand the kind of lackluster response to this MV. When I first watched it as well I was like meh, but I liked the song. It wasn't until I watched the Live Performance of this song that I was hooked. Now it's probably one of my favorite B.A.P songs. If you get a chance I would check out the Live Performance. The thing with the Rose is because of the name of the Single Album is Rose.

I'm curious. Will Bryson be reacting to more Yongguk sruff anytime soon? Pray is a blessing and whether you make a video or bot you should check it out. Also As If Putting On Armour by D.Ana and Newsun of Sonamoo too.

There are bunch of theories on the MV from fans but I found it's rather make sense so I feel like i need to share it with you. Each characters the actors portrayed have meanings behind it. 1)The girl with makeups scattered on the floor, broken mirror and smudges her lips with lipstick - portrayed how womens nowadays need to meet certain standards in beauty to be considered beautiful. so that's why some girls even felt they're not beautiful enough. 2) the guy in a dark room, shooting with his hand -portrayed how some people refuses to face problem around them. if you noticed there's a part where the guy make that 'wings' pose and once his hand dropped, the room begins to get dark. and when the light came back, there're dead bodies everywhere. shows that you thought it was good to shut yourself out but then you didn't realized you're hurting the people around you, killing them. 3)the girl with pills - portrayed how society nowadays resorted to suicide whenever it became too much. 4)the girl chopping salad n almost eat worms -portrayed how society nowadays kept being fed with shits, and we didn't even realized it. it was when the girl opened her eyes then she realized what tf she's trying to put in her mouth. this also could portray eating disorders or something like that. 5)the guy drowned in bathtub -portrayed the suffocating feelings when you're alone. when too much problems came to you u'll feel like drowning yourself to end things. bathroom is a place that where there's only you in it. 6)the guy who hold the 'Emotion Revolution' board -portrayed how people will ignore you no matter how make sense you're trying to say, unless it came from influential individuals. he tried to voice out his idea but he was being ignored. this is the part where the TV suddenly turned on, showing Zelo (pink haired rapper) in it. only then it caught the poeple attentions. it portrayed how important media is in relaying messages for awareness. there's a part where BAP members carry torches in darkness, shows there's still a glimmer of hope despite how things seems bleak. Lastly, each characters hold a rose, a symbol of love that will eventually turned to hope. so basically, this MV touches issues regarding on mental illness and politics. the diversity of the characters (various ethnicities) showed no matter what race, ethnicity, etc. we all have the same problem and we need to unite. i guess that's it. hope u find this useful.

there is only 6 member, there's no theory, its not like BTS(god, they have so many theory I got tired of it but still listen to them), I think Rose album is the best made mini album they made.
