Am I the only one who loved Cypher pt.4? For me, everyone were great but my favorite part was Rap Monster's part. You said it was like Rap Monster did the rap after he woke up, but obviously it was on purpose, it's sarcasm, he was like "I don't care anymore, you talk nonsense, I will not give all I have just for you" that's why I love his part! Of course, I respect your opinion, I just wanted to tell you mine ^^

Personally 3 had the best hook, 4 had the best beat and 2 had the best verses. But all three are bops so I can't complain only 1 doesn't do anything for me but it's completely understandable since that's their rookie days. I agree Suga's verse in this absolutely slayed everyone's life even tho his verses in all the cyphers are the best for me, I believe the reason RapMon's verse seemed weaker here is because all of them seemed to have a role in here. Since the theme was "Love Yourself instead of hating on me" RapMon took on the chill sarcastic tone where he is showing them he dgaf which explains the lazy flow, Jhope took on the nonchalant "Hater Who? I'm here chilling with my bros" tone and Suga was like straight murder "I'll hull your piece of shit car" attitude he always had but then last second he's like "stay healthy tho" lmao so yea that's my take on this.

Y'all are so salty. Bryson is entitled to his own opinions, and he's not a hardcore kpop fan so he's not gonna remember who raps. To be honest the first time I listened to it I didn't like it as much as the others, but I'm in love with it now. I think you two said it perfectly. RapMonster's part definitely could have picked up, he has the talent. But I love the lyrics of this. I believe the beginning of this where RapMon was talking about pronunciation and diction, he was referring to the people who would make fun of his accent when he spoke English.

RM can do his part the way he wants to, rap isn't all about speed. His part imo was the best, just because he has the talent doesn't mean he has to rap fast each time. He's been trying sing a lot more lately which is why it has more of a singing tone to it and it honestly sounds perfect and he slays. Finally. I was also so so so hyped for pt. 4, and didn't expect this kind of approach at all. I didn't like it, I hated that Rapmon went so soft, I think that only Suga kept the killer concept. But after listening their explanation about it, they wanted to try new things, and they are so tired of all haters getting on their back because they are becoming more and more mainstream. Because of that I really respect this version, and I think that there will be no more cyphers from BTS. Pt.3 Killer was really cool and you should watch that live perf. by them with supreme boi. I feel like the weakness in this song is the build-ups. Only Suga actually built something with his rap, going hard in the beginning with speed, then slowly raising his overall intonation and ending on an ironic note. RapMon and J-Hope... I feel like there's no real build-up. RapMon's beginning was really promising, but he failed to hype it up. As for J-Hope, I just feel like his ending did not feel like an ending. It felt like he still had like 8 bars to go.

At first this cypher was not that good but then, this became that 'one track' without which i cant sleep until i listen to it. And seeing the cypher series as a whole, i feel this balanced the part 3 hyper level. And dont forget, rapping need not spit all time. It requires some space too. I didn't like it at first as well. Everyone was saying that this is the best Cypher and i couldn't understand why because i was slightly disappointed. They were pretty chill and didn't show much of their capbilities. However i understand that they are going for a different style to suit the rest of the songs in the album. This Cypher is the kind that grows on you the more you listen to it. And I think it's perfect for it's purpose--this is where you gotta realize why the cyphers are in PARTS; Killer was the heat intense moment of the anger so of course it's the "hardest" in terms of intensity. This is the aftermath--the lazy "I don't give a fuck, hahaha, sorry bae". So I think this is actually the perfect cypher for its purpose.

Yeah Rapmon said himself that they went with this beat because this type of trap music is popular overseas at the moment. Rapmon is my bias and i kinda wish he went harder with his verse for this but I love how he shut up people who mock his looks and the way he talks in English. i actually wasnt into this song at first, but i listen to cypher 3 a lot. But cypher 4 is sooo much different, and the rap style doesnt win for the speed and hype of course, but i think it's really artistic and very much sopisthicated. Cypher 4 is also good for dance track for sure.

Even my fav is cypher 3... This cypher is a bit different from other cypher its actually a bit laid back nd kinda slow like not going in but when u listen to it again nd again it will get stuck in ur head..the beat is catchy though...

Oh man, Rapmon's part was my favorite in this? I'm not too big on BRS in general, but I really appreciated that he's bringing variation and /doesn't/ try to spit fire or whatever. Instead, he made this simple but effective wordplays. He seems to be so flexible, whereas Suga and J-Hope just seemed uncomfortable in this tempo...?. I mean... it's obviously your opinion, so never be afraid to say it, yeah? :3 P.S.: Yes Matt, that beat is really cool!

In all honesty i'm pretty sure all armys thought like bryson, if they want to admit it or not. Maybe it grew on them later like it did for me but maybe not. The thing is cypher was awaited for soooo long and we kinda expected straight fire and that's not what we got. And for that we were disappointed. The second thing that maybe led to our disappointment was because we KNOW they could do so much better than this. Plus, rapmon said that he wrote it in 5 min and he thought it wasn't good enough so he wanted to re-write it but the producer said it's good enough. The surprising thing is that it actually grew on me because this too has amazing lyrics if we actually thought about it. Anyway, thank you for your honest reaction, i'm pretty sure we all can relate somehow ❤️

I personally think that because Bryson was used to the cyphers being quick tempoed it was a little different with this slow tempo coming from Rap Mon or rather the whole song being a slower tempo that threw Bryson off.

To be completely honest: I agree with Bryson. I don´t hate this cypher, but this one disappointed me big time. The beat reminded me way to much of the bad rappers in USA and I absolutely hated Rap Monster´s verse. The first time I heard the song I despised it, but with time I started accepting it, now is in my iphone and everything. Still, the disapointment is still there... Anyways, I´m glad Bryson did say what he really thought of this song. Kudos for you!

Well I also did not like this cypher at first too and I also liked part 3 the best because when it comes to rapping, I like aggressive flow better. But this song just grew on me and I ended up chanting "SORRY BAE" and "I LOVE MYSELF" on a daily basis LMAO

I don't get why Bryson would get hate for expressing his own personal opinion. He already said he definitely didn't have the intention of offending neither BTS nor fans, and he was simply stating what he personally thought and that it didn't come to his taste, and prefer the previous cypher's. I personally love cypher 4, but I'm not gonna judge others who didn't. I'm glad he said what's on his mind rather than lying, because then it wouldn't have been an honest reaction. If fans are easily hurt by a reaction that didn't like what they like, then they can simply watch other reactions who are into their music taste instead of bashing one innocent male who's honest.

Cypher 4 is my favorite cypher :') I'm a huge fan of the cypher series, the Rapper line get to show their talents and they don't talk about senseless things there is always a deeper message somewhere there or a message to Someone lol 👀 Every time i think i love this member part the most the, next verse drops in and my opinion changes lol xD every time I listen to this Song I think this lol xD with this Cypher it was dedicated to haters in particularly the ones that like to post shit about BTS Online and Hate seeing their immense growth and achievements, listen to it well haters the lyrics speak for itself , I hope they engrave the lyrics into their system its a DIRECT message to them 👌 and the beat just goes hard I listen to this daily to feel motivated 😎 at first I wasnt really into it, but after a second and third listen it really grew on me! then ofc like all Army I looked up the lyirics and I loved it immediately! RapMon was more sarcastic and teasing he talked about the comments that people made about is face and not looking like and idol, JHope verse was more laid back he talled about his achievements and how he and his group is not bothered anymore, Suga was straight up lit as expected everything said is like a burn to anyone who has hate on them and I love how he wished them a good health afterward xD you can always expect Suga to go all out and spit fire in his verse he disses directly 😎 I actually think this Cypher was the best, when you think about it all their cyphers were due to situation that has happened to them, this was not about B-Free, as you know BTS has alot of antis and people that hate on them for no reason, so this Song was dedicated for that purpose, due to that BTS has has a hard time in the industry and they were hard on themselves, so i'm glad that hey finally lashed back! they always sing about the things that happens around them, it wasnt as hard hitting like cypher 3, but that just the beauty of it isn't always about the beat ^^ anyway thats just my opinion lol xD but i respect yours as well ^^
