Rewatching this again today, I can't help feel a bit "perplexed" (😂) about how few people have seen it and/or commented. It's such a interesting topic + Steiner should be interesting to a wide audience given the impact of his school system, writings, etc. I hope more people will find it eventually... If I could I would have "thumbs up" it once more, alas, I alreday did so watching it back in 2018.

Thank you Carl Abrahamsson and Trapart Film for this groundbreaking introduction to Crowley and Steiner. It is the fertile ground for which specialized theses can be developed. Comparisons of these thinkers' interpretations of God and the devil, their astrological signs, and providing details as to the spiritual entities claimed to have dictated their works all quickly come to mind. Many may disagree with the implication that Crowley's life having been one over run by drugs. Also the claim he didn't have the respectful peers Steiner did, when he did associate with the celebrities of the Golden Dawn, Auguste Rodin, and perhaps key central intelligence figures from the United States and Germany. Nietzsche's account of Apollo and Dionysus in the Birth of Tragedy are complex and not as easy a fit as Abrahamsson makes them appear using popular misguided sentiment. I'm not sure why Dr. Richard Kaczynski's book is not referenced here.

I’m starting my journey into The Occult, Esoteric, and The Mystery schools, I’m 59, before the internet, these subjects were only for the initiates or book worms who had access to the literature. It’s such an infinite task to try to comprehend. Although I have read, listened and exposed myself to as many teachings as possible, I really have no idea of the correct starting point, it’s hard to understand let alone progress when you listen to information that is way above the level of understanding I’m at. Members of my family have psychic ability’s although not developed, myself at an early age (6) experienced things that I have only understood are astral travel although I often wondered if it was so or just dreaming. I’ve had so many synchronicity’s in my life it’s astonishing. I’ve only just started to listen to Manly P Hall, and am aware of the Theosophical society and Jiddu Krishnamurti. I can remember their were Steiner schools in some towns here in Australia but never really knew what they were. I have a branch of the Theosophical society 30 mins drive from my home. Is it worth me becoming a member, and can they guide me on the right path ?

Steiner is good for philosophy and knowledge on the occult but not really great to achieve otherworldly understanding yourself, while i'm not as knowledgable on theosophy i'd guess its similar

That was very interesting. I have rarely met anyone that can speak with authority on both systems and talk about differences and similarities meaningfully. I am impressed and enjoyed the video thoroughly. Excellent work & well researched. I had a good laugh about your comparison of the Representation of Man to a statue of Ra-Hoor-Khuit, Nuit and Hadit!! I do think Steiner was trying to stick to the human day-to-day level, so I’m not sure that the comparison is accurate, but it is funny and thoughtprovoking nonetheless! Crowley would have been proud hahaha Thank you for sharing this video.

The joining of these two names underminds everything Steiner stood for. The name Rudolf Steiner with any esoteric order does the same, for that matter. Crowley was as close to an Ahrimonic incarnation as there has ever been. The muddling of the Anthroposophical philosophy by certain brotherhoods, aligning it with the new age, Crowley, and modern esoteric movements, assured the polar opposite would be assumed by those not in know. Anyone who studies Steiner deeply, knows what he stood for has long since been snuffed out by the Nihilists. Even his beloved order of the rose and cross has been transformed by the materialists.

@jayfarina4890 thank you for expressing this. The second line says it all. Unfortunately one has to study Steiner very deeply to grasp this. Otherwise his name is bandied about in intellectual discourse by even those who mean so well, and who would never be able to do so if they had truly grasped him and his legacy.

Imagination - Eleven of fire Language - Eleven of water Play - Eleven of air Transcendence - Eleven of earth The point is that there´re endless words you can produce, the point (Kether) comes from "good" as the philosophers nailed it. So "good" was shifted into "god" as the true name of god was unspeechable. So,I guess,Crowley found it a good idea to turn around good and discover "Hadit", which is the opposite of a dot - an infintely small dot! The peak of the "tree of life" is the middle of our galaxy, the infinite small dot - heavy metal (hohoho)! But where one tree's axis is Kether, the other one's Daath, and there´s a third one where you are now! But there were too many hours and minutes I was thinking about this. But without the word "god", all of this, even "the week", will not free you! "Believing in God" must be the hardest thing.
