The audio quality of the video is mindblowing. Any pointers how this was made? Multiple audio sources put together? The sound is so pristine, yet you can hear the audience without disturbing the music. Cant wait to be at the 909 again next weekend 🙂 Besides that phenomenal performance and track selection by Carl Craig. Using all these tracks with reference to the 909 is awesome, hes a craftsman for sure.

After many years of visiting Awakenings, this was my first time at 909... was def. worth it! I liked the vibe and the variety of DJ's, also the people. Maybe I shouldn't compare, but I like the local and "incrowd" feel of the festival and audience, over the more commercial sound and random bunch of people at Awakenings. 'Till next year!

awakenings has been deteriorating since the laste 5 years or more. It has become the tomorrowland for techno, although it has simply less and less to do with techno

@@chillegast I agree. Any recommendations for other festivals? Looking at their programming and line-up, I believe they're trying to stay fresh, by programming acts like Fjaak, Rene Wise, Ki/Ki and David Vunk to name a few... still it doesn't really resonate at their venues, not sure why. Maybe they have to split up their events into mainstream and experimentel/underground. They somehow lost the quality factor to techno.
