I can understand abit why people say this, but I look at it another way about how he comes across, I think for him to get to the levels he got to in his career, he had to be all about him, the work and training he put in since he was a kid, in a solitary sport, just made him that way, abit self absorbed. Because he had to be. Boxing is the hardest sport in the world, you don't play boxing, you haven't got mates in there with you while you're getting punched in the head. For me, this documentatary shows how much the man loves his wife and his kids. He's achieved more than most of us can only dream of, and fair play to him for that.

The first fight between Froch and Groves was awesome, Groves was doing fucking brilliant, was that cos Froch didn't take him seriously? I dunno, but I believe Groves is one of 2 people to deck Froch in his pro career and he was hurt, look at him when he got up, his legs weren't there. I do think it was stopped early, if you look back at it yes Groves got wobbled, but he was still defending himself, he was moving and throwing back. Not to say I don't think Froch may have stopped him a little later, it could well of happened, I just think it was stopped a little early.
@benjohnson3612
@benjohnson3612 3 жыл бұрын
I don’t think any other fighter wins this fight after the knockdown other than Froch. People acting like Froch stopped the fight himself and turn on him. Absolute joke. Isn’t the rule if you don’t defend yourself the ref stops it. Groves head down, hiding under the red with his arms by his side stumbling forward. If he’s doing that and the ref doesn’t stop Froch 100% puts him to bed within seconds. So made up he chip barmed him in the 2nd fight. Groves mentally got the better of Froch in the 1st fight, the 2nd fight Froch mentally destroyed Groves, and done it without saying anything negative and engaging in any petty shit. Froch is a legend and he won me 2K too with the 8th round KO. Other than Liverpool winning the league and champions leagues, that knockout is up there with my best sporting moments 👊🏻
