Something I remembered, all the way back in season 1, Lindsey had an argument with a cast member who is no longer the show, Cristina Gibson, and Cristina put her on spot about how selfish Lindsay was being, and Lindsay just dismissed her. I can't say after all these years, that she has changed much, she really has not. Meanwhile, Cristina is in a long term relationship and has a kid, Carle is sober, other than getting some fame, Lindsay really has not grown.

As a newly sober person, he should have never been in a relationship to begin with. Every single drug and alcohol counselor will tell you this. The brain is changing, the struggle is still happening, the addict needs lots of time to work on themselves without distraction or added stress. That was his first mistake. I hope he can move on and continue to work on himself going forward.

Carl does not want to work. He deflects when the topic of work . He has not made a single move in any direction in his career when Summer House was on this season. Lindsey has every right to ask him when is he going to start working? How long can he think about his career. If I were Kyle I never would have asked him to come back to Loverboy. He will not be happy there again. I always took his side but now I am on Lindsey side with asking about him getting a job.

The Carl moment that stands out for me is him finding out his brother died while Carl filming Summer House. I would think most people would IMMEDIATELY rush home to be with their family. However, Carl's reaction seemed to be to stay in front of the cameras for as long as possible before leaving. IMO he is a maniipulator...he knew exactly who Lindsay was. Maybe he proposed to her because he had no storyline (and no job) and was desperate for attention?

Was it the antibiotics and/or antidepressants? I have a friend whose looks also totally changed after being on antidepressants. Dangerous drugs - stay away.
