Thanks for the comparison. I got similar set of lenses 20, 35, 50 & 135 for my FX3 and I love them all .. they just give that beautiful film look ... so happy I got them... been thinking about 80mm 1.8, thanks for showing how good it looks

I use the 80mm Pancolar on Praktica MTL/PLC /VLC cameras and on Contax RTS for around 30 years. And this gem really is a no-brainer, a hammer. I will use it for blackandwhite films in the next months. The Pancolar 80 is definitely a portrait specialist, but with an extension ring it's a macro specialist too, and a macro lens with f1.8 !

Your mf 80mm will look more like 50mm full frame hence more dof
