OMG… I totally agree with you. Chloe was such a terrible person and when she got sober and came back for a little Susie I got so mad. I remember thinking how could five months of sobriety undo the history of roughly 15+ years of documented manic behavior, alcoholism and drug addiction on top of the fact that she abandoned her baby all that time. When it came to Carla I thought for sure we were going to see a storyline about her being bipolar. She would go from nice to nasty in the blink of an eye. She was just a master manipulator and I was not sad to see her character go.

Carla got on my nerves! Always complaining and never happy... when Peter had to go to work, she would pout to make him feel guilty. She wanted everything her way and Peter gave in to her. She didn’t make his life easy after she said she was pregnant. Carla cheated on Peter and he never knew it. And she didn’t like Chloé, I liked her. She’s beautiful and she wasn’t complicated or moody. Peter was annoying how he treated Carter. Peter was always moody and looked too serious all the time, he brought his problems to work.

I hate Carla. She was mad at Benton for not wanting to be a father, then get mad at him for not wanting to be with her. Then she wants to take Reese to Germany because his boyfriend had a job offer there , and later they broke up and she said the guy never loved her. She wanted to leave with reese and that guy to another country knowing that he didn't love her. Not mather how benton would feel or how that would affect the life of his son. And later on, we discover that benton wasn't his dad. She lied. She never tried to discover who was the father. She choose who she wanted.

I never liked the character of Carla in this show. She would either be sweet as pie or nasty as anything and the changes would happen faster than you could flip a switch. Part of me was waiting for the storyline where she was diagnosed with bipolar disorder. Don’t get me wrong… Benton was no angel but I didn’t think that she needed to be so nasty to him. When it came out that she was pregnant I wouldn’t have been surprised if it was due to her poking holes in the condoms. Anyway I just started re-watching this show on Hulu and when I got to her story line I started skipping through her scenes because I just don’t like her character. To me she just seemed like a master manipulator.

@@hanakinsidewalker Southern Ireland ( now known as the Republic of Ireland) has a soft accent that Northern Ireland. Compare a Dublin accent to the one from Belfast they are both Irish but the latter is stronger. She is definitely from Southern Ireland.
