Jinx was basically confirmed alive by the show. If you watch closely, you'll see her characteristic shimmer dash right before the explosion. In one of the next scenes, Cait is looking at the project of the hexgate and there is a lot of vents Jinx could slip through, aswell as finding the head of her monkey bomb, but no dead body. And lastly, in the very last scene of this season, there is a zeppelin, which Jinx said in first episode of first season she's gonna ride one day

@@Rambrus0 She is not. Jinx is Riots cash machine, the most popular character in the game, they will not let her go. Plus all the lines Jinx said "I am always with you sis, even if we are worlds apart" and in the prison cell to Vi "You will never give up on me". She knew Vi will never be happy until she is gone. She definitely wanted to kill herself, but after speaking with Ekko, she understood that "breaking the cycle" should not be necessary dying, but just disappearing and starting a new life. Good comparison to those who have s*uicidal thoughts in real life. You don't actually need to end it all, find a different solution, rewrite your story. And Ekko burned the 1 paper for Heimerdinger not Jinx, because only Ekko saw Hemerdinger dying (actually not dead tho, yordles can't die). And Ekko probably spoke to Jinx and she explained her plan to disappear and begin new life. This action would we in usual Jinx manner, do something crazy before disappearing.

As far as Jinx's sacrifice goes, think back a little bit to her an episode ago when she said, "You're never gonna give up on me, are you?" to Vi, followed by all that stuff about how Vi deserves to be happy with Caitlyn and to stop worrying about Jinx all the time Jinx knows that she can't stay in Piltover and still build a new life for herself surrounded by all these ghosts, but if Vi knows she's alive, she'll never stop chasing after her. So Jinx fakes her death to free Vi from that responsibility, because even though it will hurt her in the moment, Jinx believes in the long run Vi will have a happier life that way

its so sad that originally they were going to have a scene where Ekko and Jinx work together and paint eachothers outfits after Ekko saves her and tells her about the good version of her in another universe....they had to cut it....and instead we got this totally senseless Vi and Cait s*x scene taht didnt make sense and if you have little sister who has tried something like this in the past then you know that a normal big sister willnever act like this , Vis normal reaction would have been to grab the keys and run after her sister...not once should you think about your libido when your sisters LIFE is in danger , thats not a normal behaviour

That scene is a result of love, happiness, gratitude and yes, libido. A literal explosion of emotions when just a few scenes ago Vi thought Caitlyn betrayed her by arresting Jinx even if Caitlyn claims Jinx surrendered.

@@HK-gm8pe Tbf, Vi didn't know Jinx was planning on unaliving herself... heck most viewers didn't know the show would "go there". "Breaking the cycle" could have meant just walking away. So while I do agree that maybe that scene with Vi and Cait went on for a little too long, it was a perfectly normal progression for both Vi and Cait... because Cait telling her that she ordered the guards to leave their posts was essentially telling Vi that she helped Jinx escape prison... and I guess Vi found that "hot" (I'm going the absurd route, but it's pretty in character still). Also, it was confirmed that the finale's original run time was over 1 hour long. But it was cut short, possibly due to some legal contractual stipulation from Netflix that the episode can't go past a certain time (Netflix does pay Riot Games $3M per episode).

I totally understand why the CaitVi scene felt out of place , but to put into perspective we need to differentiate between what we know as viewres and the perspective of the characters , Vi essentially after she came to help her sister out of prison was once again just left behind alone in a prison cell for probably few hours since the council meeting was taking place , abandoned by her sister and the last thing she said to her was to not feel guilty abt being happy with Cait , I'm pretty sure she thought jinx is just walking away , So when Cait showed up , Vi thought she's gonna be mad at her for choosing jinx , but instead she realizes Cait let het her choose what to do , basically putting what Vi wants before everything else , putting her love first over her hatred for jinx ... All that with the pent up emotions they had for each other since forever , the longing , the war at their door , the paralels of their first meeting , Vi being impulsive needing that confirmation , that consummation of their love . All of it leads to the scene For me it's sad when for the first time Vi puts her happiness first , she got hate from the fandom.. [sorry for any mistakes English isn't my first language]

Not only that, in psycology theres a concept called trauma responses, when you are living a really stressing event (could be getting robbed, learning a loved one just died, reviving a traumatic event, etc.) people responses from one of the 6 F's Fight, Flight, Freeze, Fun, Flop or Fornicate. As much death as Arcane had throughout the series there is 100% no way Riot would kill off Jinx. She is the most iconic character out of all 169 champions that League of Legends has. It was shown there are tunnels where jinx fallen with her "father". They both escaped. That's why at the end that blue hair/pirate eye was looking at the plans of that palace. They probably never found jinx body. And I think she had a smirk while looking at the plans as she understands jinx escaped.

Alot speculate Jinx is still alive, due to the blimp shown at the end, and a variety of different evidence that can point towards that direction, but assuming that she is going to demacia due to other lore reasons. Since the start of S2 she has showed disdain for both the name Jinx and Powder, so I'm going to cope with the fact that she will choose another name and that name will be Isha to honor her lil sis :) and honestly I just see it fit

On my first watch, I was bawling my eyes out too thinking Jinx had died, but upon rewatching the ending (because I hate myself), I don't think she's dead for a few reasons. When the explosion goes off you can see a brief shimmer streak flicker off to the side, and what's towards the side of the hexgates? The vents that Caitlyn were inspecting in the hexgate schematics towards the end while she was holding onto the remnants of Jinx's powder monkey bomb, I think a lot of the Arcane fandom hypothesizes that Jinx darted out into one of these vents before the explosion went off. Towards the end, we can also see a blimp flying off into the distance, a callback to the first episode of season 1 where Jinx says that she will ride one one day. She is finally able to, as Silco told her, to break the cycle by walking away. I believe she didn't tell Vi on purpose so Vi could live her life with Caitlyn, and wouldn't feel the need to spend the rest of her life chasing after Jinx. I also think that Caitlyn deduced this as well, but like Jinx, chose not to tell Vi because she knew that she would probably destroy herself looking for Jinx.

Jinx looking at Vi looking at Warwick realized she would never give up on Jinx. She would not let her walk away. So Jinx faked her own death there. If you pause, you see her shimmer trail leave through the side. And Caitlyn looks through the plans (because they probably didn't find a body) and sees vents and realizes she escaped, but she respects Jinxes choice that it's better for Vi if Jinx is gone.

First of all, i love this show. It’s a Masterpiece for me. Top 1 in my list for everything that i have watched in my life ,( and i have watched many things). But i agree, they could do at least 1 more season, this season felt a bit too fast for me. Also, the Vi and Jinx scene at the end, when Jinx jumped to help, feels a bit stupid(unnecessary or they could handle it differently)to me. But probably Jinx won’t die. At least it seems that way… And overall, i thought that season end will be a bit better and hit much harder. But that’s the only bad things i have to say about this show in general. Mostly.

Riot has said that more content like arcane is in production, including a film. They haven't said anything about setting or characters yet, but the characters and events involved here (singed, ambessa) could point towards the Noxian (the red guys) invasion of Ionia (basically Runeterra's equivalent to Japan/Asia). There are a lot of cool stories and characters there, so I am looking forward to it.

my favorite is episode 7, VERY CLOSELY followed by episode 9. All the little details in episode 7 with Powder and Ekko are so interesting for the story, but also everything was so beautiful, all the dialogue, the music, the animation. I've watched it 3 times already and I keep seeing new stuff. I love all the action in episode 9, but Caitlyn and Mel's fight with Ambessa is just incredible. I don't get tired of watching it again and again. Also Jinx's new design, the entrance, the music. Masterpiece.

What a great show, one of the greatest I might even say. Sad we won't see more Arcane, but also very exctied to see where we go next. It's been pretty much confirmed we'll be seeing Noxus and Ionia next, which would make sense to continue there from here because of how the story already set up/hinted Mel, Leblanc, Swain, and Singed. You see a zeppelin flying away right? Well in the first episode of the show little powder said one day she was gonna be flying one of those so the animators didn't put that zeppelin scene at the end for no reason they basically letting us know that jinx was there flying away :) ❤

To answer Ange’s question about the whole sacrifice thing,it’s pretty simple,Jinx just followed the advice the Silco hallucination gave her: to walk away,she did the whole sacrifice charade to peacefully walk away and to start over a peaceful life because again she felt like everyone who got near her would die or get hurt,she’s most likely still alive but just disconnected herself which is probably the best decision she could do,I’m not sure if Ekko and Vi know for sure if she’s dead or not though

Ekko is the first who isn’t trying to change Jinx into something they want. Jinx perks up when Vi asks her what she thinks they should with Vander, at the idea of “we” stay to build the commune. Later the prison, Vi talks about using her talents for good, she’s never giving up on getting her sister back. It’s S1E9 again - jinx wants to still be loved even though she’s different. For the first time, Ekko offers to help her as she is, as someone worth building for, to build something new… together.

Honestly, aside for Ambessa, you give can a reason for all the "dead" champs to be alive. 1. Jayce & Viktor: were sucked into the arcane, which doesn't inherently mean death. 2. Heimerdinger: Got hit with time magic. Could simply in a different timeline. Also, from what I can remember, yordles don't necessarily die. 3. Warwick is an undying being at this point, so anything is possible for him. Though I do believe the Vander part of him is still dead. And y'all discussed the possibility that Jinx might be alive. Riot gave themselves a lot of breathing room if they ever wanna use these characters again.

Before the explosion there is a brief purple flash, like when Jinx moves and escapes. She said she wanted to fly an airship and the last shot was an airship. So letting go means to leave Zaun and Piltover. She probably would go elsewhere to start a new adventure. My guess is she took Warwick/Vander with her. To continue the black rose they will need to develop Noxus region, where probably Jinx will go.

I saw some people discuss a neat detail about Ekko. In this episode we see Future Viktor give Jayce different runes in an attempt to stop the future. In the reality that comes to pass the rune given to Jayce is what inspired Ekko (as said in Episode 7) to make the Z Drive which helped him get home.

Jinx breaking the cycle initially was killing herself. Ekko kind of gave her a reason to live again. I know it was touched on in the video. So I’ll just quickly say it. Indicators that were given showing she’s alive: - When she blows herself and Vander up, there’s a single line of shimmer that comes out of the explosion right before. - As Cait is holding the monkey head she’s looking at where they fell, and it is showing the air ducts down there and how she could escape. - At the beginning of the series, powder says that one day “she’s gonna ride in one of those.” The airship, and it ends with a zeppelin leaving the city. Ending with a Jinx themed “the end” - As well as the other mentioned points in the video The writers aren’t stupid, and they don’t introduce those things without a reason. Necrit also did a hour long video with the co creator of Arcane and they smile and look at each other implying that her story isn’t finished. It’s a good video, you should watch it! :) Jinx leaving is also the only way to break the cycle without killing herself, allowing Vi and Cait to be together. The story also moving to a new area, it makes sense to have some of the most beloved characters open to being introduced into the story. I heard some people say introducing characters into other areas, like jinx coming into a new series would be bad writing. I feel as though that’s unfair, the writers are brilliant, and even though not given enough time (which was acknowledged in the interview with Necrit. That’s really not up to them, it costs like $600k / minute of animation. You need a way to keep the non-league people interested. The new audience loves the current characters, so having them as a transition point or an occasional story beat would be good to keep the new audience engaged. The Co creator said it’s a world, that is meant to be entangled and work together, you need that for it to feel real and alive. Bringing those characters together is not lazy if done well, it’s gonna be awesome. Loved the season, even though a few things were rushed. I don’t blame them for that.

Further more, in the recent behind the scenes videos and the Necrit 2 hour long interview, both the lead show runner and actors were asked whether Jinx is alive or not, to which the show runner just smiled and moved on quickly, and the actor had to hide her face from smiling before smirking and going "I wonder..... who knows 😉"

Jinx also saw that Vi could never let go and move on. She saw it with Warwick/Vander at the end. Jinx was calling for her to leave but Vi cannot leave Warwick/Vander like that and holding on would have killed her. Jinx knew she had to do it so that Vi can finally leave them behind.

The crow at 23:52 is Swain's spirit animal(?). He's Noxus strategist and one of the reasons I think Noxus vs Ionia or Demacia may be next season. Specially with Mel and Ambessa already being from Noxus.

didn't you notice that the jinx escaped through the ventilation, it even showed Caitlyn smiling looking at those plants and at the end there is the airship that the jinx talks about in the 1st episode of the 1st season that she wanted to get on one of those so it is implied that she left like the silco said for her in prison. if you pause at the right moment in the explosion there is a pink ray from the jinx's eyes escaping the explosion

Well, the clues really are there that could pretty much confirm Jinx lived. First being the purple zap that happens before the explosion goes off , and its diffrent then the color of the bomb. Second clue is Cait checking the blueprints showing us that there are airvents that lead back to Zaun (which we know from episode3). 3rd clue is the air ship from ending scene, being the same exact model that jinx said she would ride one day , from s1 ep1. And last clue, having the end words being written in her style (not that relevant as other 3 clues but still).

The 3-eyed raven you see towards the end is a teaser of what is going to come next. The 3-eyed raven is based on one of the Noxian Grand Generals named Jericho Swain aka The Visionary. Therefore, the next series will be based on Noxus lore, and this is also why we had Ambessa and Mel in this series using them to tie into Noxus.

About the new series. Theres 3 series from LoL already in production. So, don't expect to see the same art style of Arcane since it will be made by different studios. Riot usually make cinematics with many different styles. You guys know it from other videos. So, you can expect some variants like a serie made entirely in 2D anime style. Thats being said, Arcane takes place in Piltover/Zaun. The next 3 series takes place in: - Noxus: a spartan like expansive empire with a false meritocracy concept to unify all countries under a single banner where the strong lead the weak. - Demacia: a sovereign reign where magic is banned. Mages are hunted and put under cells here. The city walls are made of a special stone that works as anti-magic field. - Ionia: a magical large region that resembles some asian cultures and legends. Mother nature here is very powerful, The region is not only populated by humans, but also for the vastaya, a race of human-animal hybrids with lots of magical power. In Arcane you saw a few vastaya (the bat guy allied to Ekko, the fish-like guy working as reinforcer). Ionia have samurai, ninjas, kitsunes and so on. Considered that Arcane showed a bit of noxians and ended showing the six eyed crow from Swain (a extremelly important character from Noxus), I bet this will be the next series, especially because Swain plans have some steps on Zaun (Singed and Urgot). I believe that Ionia might be next since it is a target to Noxus and Singed have a very important role to make the invasion possible. Finally Demacia might come next since its power rivals with Noxus might and they had their clashes.

Jinx fled through the ventillation shaft, that is why Cait was smiling when observing the blueprints later. Plus, you can see a thin line of shimmer drawn outward before the explosion and when they show the airship flying away, they close the whole thing with Jinx themed "The End" sign. This way she fullfilled her statement in Season 1 Act 1 Episode 1 when she said while pointing on an airship , that "I will drive one of those". Mel is travelling towards Noxus to take over everything.

we won´t get another Arcane show because the "Arcane" is over, doesn´t mean the Zaun&Piltover story is over. There are still many more storylines and characters to come. The showwriters also confirmed. I bet i there is gonna be a huge timeskip with another title drop or similar :)

producers said Viktor and Jayce got 'disintegrated' and seem to be dead they also were asked "Did Jinx survive?" and the answer was *shrug* "maybe, its up to interpretation" to back that up, just at the start of the explosion, you can see a pink streak which is Jinx using her shimmer speed also, at the end, Caitlyn is looking at blueprints to then hexgate tower, and sees ventilation shafts going off to the side, which also indicates that she might be alive but we wont know for sure unless she shows up in another series the 2 most important characters for the entire series was Ekko and Singed Singed created shimmer, as well as experimented on Vanderwick Ekko set up the job where Powder swiped the blue crystals, that caused the devastating explosion that killed Mylo and Claggor and Vander in season 1, then he saved JInx and gave Jayce the opening to reach Viktor and change things Ekko's weapon at the end is the hand of a clock on the side of the hexgate tower that they crashed through with Jinx's flying airship thing, and i love the constant themes of time connected to Ekko

The only bad thing in this finale is the rushed//cut plots like the Zaun vs Piltover thing, Caitlyn doing some evil general shit and trying to redeem herself, Ekko talking with Jinx, the dead characters withou mention There's a lot of cut content in this Act but for me this Season still better tha the first one and Arcane is the best animated series ever done

I've said it before and I'll say it again, if you think the stuff with Caitlyn was rushed or made no sense, you weren't paying enough attention to her scenes in act 2 because of the crazier stuff going on with Vi and Jinx.
