As someone who grew up in Carlisle as a kid in the 60's & 70's this was a sentimental "walk." You took your camera down Botchergate and the two cycle stores that I got a bike from are noticeably still there 50 years later! Palace and Whiteheads for anyone whose familiar with the city...

It might sound strange to most but it's nice to see shops closed on a Sunday and I'm not saying that from any kind of religious point of views (I'm atheist). Everyone could do with a day of rest and there's something calm about walking through a quiet city center. Nice video !
