*_Isaiah 53.3 He is despised and rejected by men, A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him; He was despised, and we did not esteem Him. 4 Surely He has borne our griefs And carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted. 5 But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed. 6 All we like sheep have gone astray; We have turned, every one, to his own way; And the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all. 7 He was oppressed and He was afflicted, Yet He opened not His mouth; He was led as a lamb to the slaughter, And as a sheep before its shearers is silent, So He opened not His mouth._* _Jesus Christ loves you. Repent and be saved. Only Jesus Christ saves. God bless you, and the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you and your family..._

Theory: Norwalk put the microphone there intentionally so that Carlito would find it. How Viggo Mortensen portrays a character void of any self-respect and dignity, betraying his closest allies and friends, is outstanding. Kudos to him and, needless to say, to Al Pacino as well. i wish there was an alternate ending where at the end of the movie they show carlito about to get into the subway and they show him from the back and the doors open and you hear a gunshot and he slowly slumps down revealing Lalin in his wheelchair and he goes "Sorry carlito.. they made me do it" and then throws a dirty diaper on his lifeless body and rolls away saying "fucking diapers" then the credits start rolling.

That be a comedy twist!! You think like me. Or during this scene here. Palin does some whimpering and sticks his tongue out sometimes.

I forgot Viggo was in this film. He also had a supporting role in Young Guns II. He's had a very long and successful career. Played a variety of roles. Such range.

I thought Viggo was Puerto Rican the first time I saw this scene. The accent, slang and mannerisms were all on point. He's such a great actor.
