I've moved on to the Intermediate videos but I always come back for Carlitos. He's a handful 😂

congrats on the progress - are you using SOLELY dreaming spanish to learn?
@katakana-kun21224 жыл бұрын
Steven Krashen would be proud. You actually made me want to learn Spanish despite having no reason to. I'll come back if I ever do :D
@ryanbaileyboxing4 жыл бұрын
you do need to learn it as the majority of the world speaks it as a primary language.
@katakana-kun21224 жыл бұрын
@@ryanbaileyboxing Never once thought in my life "oh I wish I knew Spanish". Not really part of my sphere. If I was gonna learn a language for practical reasons I'd learn Chinese I think. But thanks for the insight :) I'll probably still do Spanish for fun eventually.

@@katakana-kun2122 Have you seen any good Comprehensible Input materials in Chinese? Or Japanese?
@katakana-kun21223 жыл бұрын
@@tonychen4589 I don't know anything similar to this for Japanese, but the closest would be slice of life anime (re:life, new game, etc). If you don't like anime you can also go for love comedies, but I found those to be mainly unwatchable... I'm not the biggest anime fan but still found anime to be the better option. In terms of language those two are the easiest, plus the visuals help make the messages comprehensible.

Me gusta mucho ir de camping. Cuando voy a un festival de música, suelo llevar una tienda de campaña. Menos mal que es mas fácil desmontar que montar porque siempre tengo una resaca al final.

Angel T.. I have just started to go between intermediate and beginner just now. How many hours did you do before moving on to Intermediate?
@angelt98624 жыл бұрын
Probably around 250 hours or so. I found it a little scary to move to Intermediate, especially since I didn't understand every single word in beginner videos, but I understood much of them. I trusted in the process and dove in! Don't be afraid! Good luck!
@andrewtruscott85154 жыл бұрын
Angel T .. Thank you for your reply. I have similar hours and will for now always return back to some easier learning when i feel it is needed. Good luck!
@angelt98624 жыл бұрын
Andrew Truscott.. That is exactly what I do. If you haven't already, you should also check out "Espanol Con Juan" here on KZbin; his channel and Dreaming Spanish are the best I've found for Comprehensible Input.

Angel T.. I have been using ECJ and still do. He is a great teacher and his videos are brilliant, although not all his input is extensive. I find that Pablo has helped me more in understanding how to learn naturally with input. I enjoy this method far more. I really hope Pablo gets the recognition he deserves..

I really love your channel and you are a great teacher! My only problem is that I am in North America and Latin-American Spanish that is spoken over here is a little different. I can understand the different accent but what I'm finding difficult to understand is when you use vosotros and those conjugations. I don't hear people speaking with vosotros at all, only ustedes....so I am sometimes getting confused if I'm hearing a different grammar tense.
@DreamingSpanish4 жыл бұрын
If you can understand the intermediate videos I recommend you subscribe to the daily videos on Patreon! More than half the new videos we're producing are by Latin American teachers.

Hate Carlitos and stories about him. Don't find any of it funny or amusing. Made me into childfree. Other Superbeginner stuff is awesome, though
