I have to say that this man has a way of keeping you hooked throughout the whole video even if you only understand few things.. I even started watching these videos while working out I have a question, I am confused with how the V is pronounced in Spanish, I’ve read before that it’s like B in English but when I hear you saying ‘vale’ it’s like V in English not B
@DreamingSpanish4 жыл бұрын
It's never like "v" in English. Listen a lot to Spanish and the pronunciation will feel natural to you.

What do you think about trying to learn a 2nd foreign language. Like will this method work if i am native English but have learned spanish to an A2 level and want to add Chinese as a 2nd foreign language endevor? Can i learn both at the same time via listening solamente 200+ horas a chinese antes de hablarlo el idioma cuando continuar mi progreso con espanol tambien? @dreamingspanish - THANKS :)
@DreamingSpanish4 жыл бұрын
There's no difference between learning a first or a second foreign language. Learning two languages at the same time though, makes it harder to keep the motivation up. Since you're not spending as much time with either of them, you won't be learning as fast, and it makes it harder to see progress. That may hurt your motivation to continue learning. It is possible, but I don't recommend it the first time you're learning a foreign language to fluency. 200h are not enough to be ready to start speaking Chinese. You can check out the language learning roadmap here to know more or less how much each level will take: bit.ly/DreamingSpanishList

Ryan, how's your Spanish now? Are you ready for Chinese? I'm attempting to create something like Pablo's channel for Chinese. My focus right now is "super beginner" and "beginner" level contents. Let me know how you like them. Gracias!

I grew up in Kansas so we didn’t have the ocean close by. But we did go to the lake a lot! That was fun. Mostly we swam in swimming pools though.

¡Hola! I've just found your videos and they are exactly what I was looking for. I'm just wondering, have you ordered videos in the playlists in order of recommended listening?
@DreamingSpanish4 жыл бұрын
Not really. The playlists are ordered chronologically. I recommend you watch the playlist for the level you're at. The order is not important.

its 3am but I'm here 😂 what do you think about primsleur or audio courses in general for learning? I'm also thinking about getting a visual dictionary for when I want to learn more vocabulary, do you think that would be a good idea? I think having the image and the word would stick better
@DreamingSpanish4 жыл бұрын
Audio courses can be fine if there's nothing better. But it's much better if there's something like Dreaming Spanish that allows you to learn without using translation, and by listening or reading to content that you actually want to understand. In any case, if you do an audio course, I recommend skipping the parts where they ask you to practice speaking.

@@DreamingSpanish I use them in conjunction with everything else to learn a target language. Pimsleur is really great for confidence and gaining a lot of information for a beginner of a language. Just diversify and you should learn quickly and effectively.

As a young boy, my older brothers thought it would be hilarious to bury me up to my neck in sand. Not being the sharpest tool in the shed, I thought it would be funny, too. Other than that, I have great memories of seagulls, sand castles, piers and watching sailboats. Thanks for another great video, Pablo.
