The Argentinian conductor, Carlo Felice Cillario, who was responsible for shaping the operatic climate in Australia from the late 1960s to his retirement almost four decades later, was not generally known for his non-operatic performances. From a recently discovered tape he is heard on the podium with the Sydney Youth Orchestra with Symphony No. 4 of Johannes Brahms. The date of the performance is March 7th, 1993.
