New student of four days and I found myself not only smiling from ear to ear but actually believing one day I could play some flamingo. Thank you Thank you

You absolutely can play flamenco, dont be afraid of what look like crazy compas, you can learn relatively complex ones in a week or two and will be shock by how natural it feels after some time. When i first started, i always looked up to great players as Grisha Goriachev or Paco de Lucia as absolute gods (which i still do actually) and was just saddened by the fact that i wouldnt be able to play my favorites songs until years because of the skill difference (also because i suffer from dyspraxia, which fucks up my dexterity). That demotivated me real hard for some time, but i did not give up, and damn i am glad i didnt. When i saw that with a bit of hard work and patience you can play really cool songs and feel like a real flamenco guitarist in months, it got me hyped up and super confident The picado technique can be a frustrating technique to get good speed on, but once you get some ease you can easily crank up the tempo progressively and impress yourself quite easily Flamenco is a whole world of beauty and great unique techniques, once you get hooked to it it sinks into your heart forever

You made a mistake, from the moment you put the capo on the 2nd freight the 5th freight becomes the 3rd, the 6th freight becomes the 4th..everything is shifted For example, the first notes 5 - 2 - 6 you have to write 3 - 0 - 4 suddenly it becomes a bit complicated but thank you for the effort anyway.

great tutorial, i got a little confused in the beginning, there's a note or two that you don't actually play as written, but i like that it is to the point and it's easier to digest slowly, section by section, i hope to get it completely.

Thank you very much for all the hard work. I have to learn tis song say 70% and your video is going to be very helpful I already got four cool chord inversions from watching the Gipsy Kings live...you are quite right that flamenco can be played with a pick as Al Di Meal does...it is not as beautiful or complex of course...but it can be done if one doesn't have say the years to invest in developing one's right hadn't technique.

Hi Carlo! Could you tell us more about the technique of the play that starts with 2:37? My fingers don't keep up with the rhythm here. Did you use only two fingers(index and middle fingers pull the string alternately and thumb lay on a 6th string?)
@sidneyyouker9413 жыл бұрын
I am as bit confused with the tabs beging at the first bar. By placing the capo on the 2nd fret. the G string(3rd string) now becomes the note of A. However when I look at the tabs and compare it to the notes you have the third string marked with a #2 on this string, making it a B. I think this may be a error. The #2 on the 3rd string should in fact be a 0 as the notes show it as a A note, not a B note. Also there are no B notes in the F major scale. I would also suggest that you have finger placements on the notational parts, as may other instructors do. I look forward to your reply.

Thank you Carlo, it was very interesting, only one comment. The tune you demonstrated covers the beginning of the Gipsy King tune well, but the end sections did not correspond to Gypsy King Tune!!! I don't know why! If you listen to the tune played by Tonino, it is different! By the way this was not a song, this was a Solo guitar tune! A song is when a tune is accompanied by some lyrics.
