Pretty much Federer forehand with semi western grip!! He attacks every ball on the way up, and usually heavy spin on the way down

Once Djokovic is gone (retired) no body in current generation can stop Alcaraz.. if alcaraz remains focused and does not let sucess get to his head he can dominate mens tennis for 7-8 yrs and can win upto 16 GS in that duration

Consider Alcaraz's forehand: an overture in a symphony of strokes, composed not in the stark language of effort and exertion, but in the radiant grammar of joy. There is a ballet of muscle and mettle at work, certainly, but his face betrays another element at play: unalloyed happiness. Begin with the setup. The initial weight shift, the coil of the torso, signals the build-up of a tempest. Yet his eyes gleam, his lips curl into a knowing smile, as though he's privy to a joke the rest of the world is yet to understand. It’s a preamble not merely to power, but also to pleasure. Then comes the uncoil. As Alcaraz's arm whips forward, racquet colliding with ball in a microcosmic explosion, his smile widens. The controlled ferocity of his forehand is not just a stroke, but a triumphant declaration of joy. Amid the physics of potential, a burst of human emotion illuminates the spectacle. Alcaraz’s forehand, thus, is not a statement etched in sweat and striving alone, but also in the pure ecstasy of the game. It is an existential dance, his boyish grin an embodiment of the joy that transforms sport into art. His forehand, therefore, serves as both a physical feat and a symphony of soul, a testament to the power of happiness in the heart of high performance. brought to you by gpt-4👽

Maybe I’m the only one but I really don’t like the look of his forehand. I like the result. Don’t imitate this unless you’re an amazing ball striker
@harryherman5371
@harryherman5371 Жыл бұрын
I see what you mean. I think it’s because he holds on to the racket far past the recommended point, way after bounce. He has to banana whip it all lot for that reason.
@leslielamb385
@leslielamb385 Жыл бұрын
You can't get that result without imitating the stroke, and even then it's about the athlete. His forehand technically is superior. You should try to imitate especially juniors, us old folgies not so much.

I’m coming to this video while watching him play Zverev in the 2023 US Open and McEnroe said, “if you are coming up in tennis, Alcaraz’s forehand is the one to hit. We weren’t taught this but it’s the most correct way to hit a forehand in the game today.”

He lags he wrist. Which looks funky but gives him amazing power through the racket head. That’s why he can hit 110 mph winners mid match
@GuardBuffalo
@GuardBuffalo 9 ай бұрын
@@gabrielaburton-rodriguez5140 yeah wrist lag is an important part of hitting a forehand but I don’t think it’s a super modern idea.
